My old shredder went to sleep a few weeks ago and would not wake up. This one is it’s upgraded cousin and does everything my old standby did plus much more - crosscut instead of strips, handles 6-8 pages no problem where old one would cry at 3. Much needed improvements.

This little guy is a single page shredder. It had a tendency to over heat on me quite fast and is best suited for very light shredding work. I finally purchased another shredder (and brand) due to the wait times after over heating. For the occasional shred here and there... It will work, any demands greater than that will take awhile. For my needs it was “Fair At Best” for what I needed it to do.

It's quite convenient to use and move to and from. But cannot use much sheets at the same time and some time credit card only cannot enter into machine.

Still amazing and very useful. Over due investment. Didn't need an over the top one so this one does the trick

This is the perfect shredder for the home office! It handles all the documents that need shredding and the size of the container is exactly what I need. The handle is a nice feature and it doesn't make noise while doing the job!

It is a good shredder for the price. Even though it says 6 sheets it really only handles 3 sheets well at one time. If you do more than that it really doesn’t want to work.

I got this as a way to just shred old important documents and honestly it does the job. I knew buying something at this price wouldn't blow me out the water. It does the job, just don't do more than 3 papers at a time.

The Insignia shredder does a very good job. It is fast and cuts uniformly. The Handel on the cutting head makes it a lot easier and safer to use when empting the shredded paper.

This shredder easily handles general paperwork as well as expired credit cards. Simple to use and very powerful. Nice sized canister so it doesn't need to be constantly emptied. Handle on top makes it easy to lift shredder mechanism off canister for easy emptying. Great purchase.

My shredder works good you just can't let it get hot you have to let it cool down it worked for 2 hrs before overheating

It will shred 6 sheets at a time, but expect it to go into overheat mode and shut down for thirty minutes. It works best if I only shred 2 pages at a time.

I recently bought a different shredder from Best Buy it broke down on me the first day so I exchanged for a new one and it broke down on me again. So this time a spent little more $$ to get me this one so far I've haven't had any problems with it...

Heats up and shuts down if I build up a bunch of paper, and try to shreds all at once. If you stay on top of it, it should be fine.

The price was right & this shredder is perfect for the amount of papers that I need to be shredded. It has the 6x blades that can even destroy credit cards. It’s not bulkie & doesn’t take up much space.

It does the job if you have little paper to shred. I can only put 3 or 4 papers and does the works fine. If you want to use for a heavy duty office work, it can't handle. I would recommend another but if you don't have much to shred this one is ok for the price.

We use this primarily to shred old bills and receipts. Haven't tried to shred any DVDs yet, but I will "let it go" on a well worn copy of Frozen soon...

Get what you pay for here. It can barely handle 2 pages - the box says 6. It will cut off and over heat after 2 mins of use.

The shredder is ok but it does overheat a little fast. I had to wait for some time until it cooled down to complete the shredding.

It shreds. It does not slice. It does not dice. It doesn't even look that nice. But it shreds.

Good shredder . Very nice price and does the job if you are a light user . I shred every now and then including CDs sometimes and load is not too big . Works pretty good for me
