Bought this shredder after my old shredder broke. It's adequate. It does the job as long as it's a small job. It will overheat fairly quickly - so if you are shredding a larger file(s), you will have to have multiple sessions to complete the job. The other "problem" - the shredded size is a little larger than I would prefer. I like diamond cut size. This is long strip size. Didn't realize this when I bought it. Basically it works fine, especially for the price. If you want a smaller shredder for a small space for small projects - this is a good one to buy.

This Insignia-10-sheet crosscut shredder is really nice. I like the handle for easy lifting to empty basket which is a very nice size. It is fast and less noisy than the one I had. I am really pleased with my purchase.

Purchased after I damaged my last one. So far so good. Has been shredding for a year without any issues and I shred all my mail. Learned my lesson after trying to shred a whole junk mail envelope last time.

I like this sturdy little shredder. It gets the job done without the need to fold a 8x11 paper like other shredders. Just make sure you don't feed with more than recommended amount of pages at once otherwise it might stop the motor from running.

I have just recently purchased this and used it several times. I don’t think twice about anything I put in there to Shred.As with all shredders it bogs down just a mild bit with thicker product but continues none the less.

As long as you don't try to jam too much in at one time, the shredder works well. I sometimes have to run it backwards even for small loads, but it has never jammed entirely. As with any shredder, empty it out before it gets too full. Works as expected.

So far so good. Kinda gets hot after awhile of continuous use. For the price its a good device. Does what it says it will do.

It works but can over heat pretty quick. Can only handle about 3-4 sheets at a time but for the price I can’t complain.

you can only use it a few times before it gets hot then have to let it cool off before using again. Other than that it works great and for the price I would purchase it again.

Works well, the only issue I had was with the positioning of the gray area bar. It's placed too close to the opening to shred papers. In other words, it's practically blocking the opening.

We bought this shredder to replace one we burned out. It works very well and it is much better than the old one. It's sturdy and doesn't rock when used and not terribly loud. Had it for over a year now.

I had a lot of paper to shred. I probably put in three or four sheets at a time. The unit got hot. I had to let it cool to continue.

Again: The price was what drew me to look at it online. It performs exactly as advertised. I do use it multiple times each day. I would definitely recommend this shredder for purchase.

Shreds like any shredder would. Only downside is the weight. It is so heavy for no reason. To empty out the papers you have to lift the very heavy lid each time.

Good shredder to shred small pieces of paper or large on a daily basis. I would recommend the product. Price was great too!

It is a decent product for the price. Good for shredding mail and docs around the house

On the first use right out of the box, I used it for about 10 minutes before it overheated. Once it cooled off, it ran for another 5-10 minutes and overheated again. I'll be returning it ASAP. Suggestion: Don't buy the cheapeast shredder you can find; you get what you pay for.

I purchase this shredder because the other one stop working after a short time. It's good only the shredder part is very heavy, but it's good.
