It does operate pretty quietly. It does chop the paper up pretty fine but seems to strain a lil bit on heavier loads. Also it is a lil bulky.

Despite its small size, this shredder is able to keep up to my previous larger shredder. The cross cut feature is a must have in this day in age. Great buy for the price

I didn’t want to buy another Paper Shredder but I had to because I accidentally drop the old one it was a “Dynex DX-PS05CC“ model but this Insignia Paper Shredder will do for now.

I bought a smaller one before and every 5 min it stops working cause it got overheated so i was a little skeptical in buying another. This doesn't overheat quickly, shreds 10 pages at a time, CDs, credit cards and even shreds papers with staples, so no worries having to take those out. It's a must have esp if you have a whole bunch of unnecessary junk with confidential information on it that u want to shred in a snap.

It is listed as being able to shred six sheets at a time but I am here to tell you that that is not the case. It will bog down with anything over three sheets. If you try to get six you will have to take the top off and pull out all the shreds of paper that will be stuck in it. If you don't have a ton of paper to shred, which is the case for me, then this will do fine. I just stick with running one or two sheets through at a time.

Cheapest shredder I could find but it does the job. Nothing fancy, doesn't outperform but doesn't under perform either.

Works great for the price. My 1st one lasted 3-4 years of hard work in my office. I decided to buy another one this time around too.

It is ok for the price, Paper does jam every now and then but it is about what i expected for what i paid for it.

I got it for from the deal of the day for 1/2 off. it works well but 6 pages is a lot for it to handle. I would say 4 pages max.

My old shredder would jam over and over and I would have to use scissors to get all the pieces out. This one cuts with ease, and the crosscut means I don't have to worry so much about someone putting the strips beck together. Great on old credit cards too.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do . No issues after nearly a years use

works for what we needed it for but wouldn't use for big jobs that require lots of shredding as it bogs down at six(6) sheets as states recommended use of. Does credit cards as states.
