I saw similar items in other stores, including Walmart. It works very smoothly, never jams. They say not to use plastic bags in it. so you have to empty the container each time - makes a little mess, but I suppose that's a small sacrifice. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is I've only had it for a month, but so far it works perfectly.

Paper, envelopes, *plastic* credit cards, everything is eaten up nicely. Although it's rated for only 6 sheets, it can certainly handle a bit more. Just be mindful not to overload it. Haven't had any issues and I don't want to. I've been through 3 bins of shredded documents so far, no issues. Eventually no doubt I will need to oil and sharpen it, but at least so far it's running great.
