This shredder works great so far. No issues with jamming or overheating. It is able to shred ten sheets of paper as advertised. Handles credit cards and cds with ease. It looks nice, is sturdy and well-made. I really like that there is a handle on top as well and a large basket for the shreds. Good product at a decent price.

Scared to shred tissue paper

The next afternoon decided to shred another bag.......... was able to 20 individual sheets...one by one.. before the shredder overheated!! I flipped the top over and was amazed at the massive clog of paper stuck in the blades.....so i took a small screwdriver and cleaned the jamb....I had a sheet of lube so i had ran that through the shredder...so amazed that it got stuck 3/4 of the way through.... I was able to shred 1 piece of paper at a time but if it got fed incorrectly it shut off.....at this point the only reason that i gave 2 stars was for humor... So looking for my next Shredder...I owned a staple generic shredder that had missing teeth on the gearing that ran better...

Whenever I use it for 15-20 pages, it gets heats up and needs to keep cool down for 20 mins. If you have regular shredding need with more than 100 pages a day, look for something else. for house hold needs, it's perfect where we have not much to shred
