I was a little bit hesitant because of purchasing in an insignia DVD player and having issues with it in the past. I guess they step their game up. Shredder works great and is much quieter than my last one. Definitely does more than 10 sheets and is hungry for more. -1 star for size of waste bin and not having handles or easier way to empty. I primarily use this for shredding junk mail so I end up having to empty quite often

This INSIGNIA model NS-PS10CC CROSS CUT SHREDDER is by far the best SHREDDER that we have ever purchased. We had "apple boxes" filled with old receipts, medical statements, house purchase papers etc. This shredder handled everything we shoved down its throat! Yes, we had it moaning & groaning, but it just took it all. My wife forgot to empty it out, even though there is a CLEAR WINDOW, that you can see all the shredded pieces inside the bucket. It just kept chugging! We have not overheated this unit unlike previous shredders, from other manufacturers, that "TIMED OUT" while using the the shredder. With those shredders, we were waiting for up to fifteen minutes after heavy use. HECK YA, TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!!

I am very pleased with the end product . It shreds securely and hassle free. While it says it shreds cd's I am cautious to try it. I want it to last as long as possible. I also like the handle which helps when removing from waste basket. The only downside is where sensors are placed. If you don't have a full sized 8x10 piece of paper it will not shred until other items are placed on other side. Otherwise a great product!

This shredder is simple, inexpensive, and is good for basic home paper shredding

Works great for a small office ... Also good for old bills thats just sitting around the house

This shredder works well for daily shredding of junk mail. It’s also a nice size.

Last shredder we had would get hot very fast this shredder does not get hot at all and I love it great size for my personal office

Does the job quickly and efficiently. However, it is a little loud.

Had previously used 2 paper shredders over a period of 10 years. Both had limit of 3 to 5 pages at a time. Both would also compress sheets and sometimes fail. Only resolution 1 sheet at a time. This shredder is 100% better. Can take bundles of 8 to 10 pages with no issue. Results showing small pieces of paper.

This is the first crosscut shredder I have purchased and I am very happy with it. No jams, does a great job

I use the shredder on a monthly bases. It works very efficiently, was a good deal for the money.
