I still get a lot of paper mails every day and this machine is helping me out shred confidential ones so easily. I had bad experience with my previous shredder so didn't like to purchase for a while but this purchase is worth it for me this time.

Handles credit cards without a problem. I put 5 through back to back and it never got warm.

This unit is smaller than my previous shredder, but more effective. The price was right: I'm not a business so I don't need anything more elaborate than a machine which shreds. It's fast and automatic. When the container is full, the top isn't so heavy that the shreds won't lift it a little to give you a hint so you can empty it and start again. All together, a good find and a good purchase.

Cuts through pretty much anything... Paper, credit cars, cd's... Great for the price. Very convenient size

It won't shred a ton of sheets at once of course but it works great and I've only managed to get it jammed once - which is pretty good considering this isn't an industrial office shredder. The bin is small and I filled 2 trash bags full of shredded paper in a day. I had been waiting to shred a huge stack, so having to empty the bin often was the only annoyance. It got through a mountain of paper though and chugged on.

Shreds well for the price sold. Shredder can be a bit noisy.

when I bought this I was told by an associate of best buy that he thought they all would shred discs. After I owned it a while I tried discs of old photos. They just jammed it up. I finally got it unstuck and it worked fine after that. Thank you for the back up feature. It didn't work well but enough to help get it unjammed.
