As far as the mechanics of the shredder it is great. I only have one complaint. There is a stick residue on the one corner of the shredder and it has run down into the waste bin. I have used several things to try and clean it buy no luck. And I have no idea what to do now as far as getting rid of it. Otherwise I love the shredder. The waste bin has a small window that allows you to know i f you are reaching the top. My old shredder was a pain cause I had to remove the shredder itself to see how full it was. This is much easier.

This is a decent unit for the price. Good for home office shredding.

I didn't spend a lot of money for this paper shreader and quite frankly I was not expecting much but boy was I surprised. This little shreader is a monster, it just continues to happily eat enormous amounts of all the paper I can feed it. I'm very happy with my purchase. I like going to Best buy because the quality and variety of the merchandise they sell and the great customer service and advice I receive when I shop there. The prices are good too.

My old shredder could not handle big jobs without overheating. I needed something with more power and I found it in this model. After cleaning out some old files stored in a closet, I had a huge pile of material that required shredding. Commercial shredding is by the pound and mine weighed a lot. This shredder was much less cost wise and did the job just fine. It did take 2 sessions because of the volume but I was very impressed with this machine. I am very happy with my purchase.

I would recommend this shredder if you don't have high shredding demands. It will overheat if you shred continuously for more than several minutes (then you have to wait a few minutes for it to cool). Works great for getting rid of daily junk mail - wouldn't recommend this for heavy usage.

Works great but overheats pretty quickly. I usually leave items needing to be shredded to pile up for a bit, with this shredder it’s better to shred as you go. If you have more than a minute’s worth of shredding to do, it will overheat and shut off for a good five minutes while cooling off.
