finally got my paper shredder, it does the job well, clean and fast

We wanted a better shredder due to all the fraud going on in the world. The crosscut does a decent job shredding our documents. It can't take more than about 3 pages at a time. If the paper gets stuck, it is difficult to remove from teeth. Take it light and easy and you will be OK.

Reviewed the comments on this one, wasn't sure, but this shredder is a beast + the price was a great deal!

Does the job well. The only issue is it's noisy when shredding.

Works great! I needed one that resulted in shreds that could not be put back together and this does the job. It holds a decent capacity but I always keep a garbage bag nearby when shredding so it doesn’t get overloaded. The overhead light is an added bonus but mine didn’t come on even after working on it for a few hours. All in all, would recommend.

This is a great little paper shredder for home use. It's small, so it's a great space saver in an apartment or home office. For an office or if you do a lot of shredding, I'd probably go for a bigger one, or you will be dumping it all the time. Perfect to set next to your desk and just use as needed though. It has a viewing window so you can see when it is getting full, and it has an overheat warning light and will automatically shut off when overheated. I've had it overheat twice, but I had been shredding things for hours, and one of the times I just wasn't paying attention to how full the bin was. 6 sheets is probably a bit of a stretch. It will do it, but it struggles, especially if the paper isn't perfectly straight because the sides will fold over and make it thicker. If you stick to 3 or 4 sheets at a time, it works great. No problem with credit cards either.

Only got 4 stars as its efficient on light loads but it heats up really quickly and have to stop in between shreds. I wont recommend for even a home office, but just something to have in the house to shred your junk mail and some light loads.

This shredder has been great so far. We have a small office and have had no issues at all! Highly recommended!

I loved it. I filled up two trash bags full of shred and it didn’t overheat.

The shredder works very well and has a reverse feature to release shredded paper which necessarily accumulates in the teeth. This is an excellent feature. Easy to use and to empty.

This compact shredder is great for basic needs. A huge plus is that it can shred credit cards, but this thing overheats fairly quickly. If you have a lot to shred, plan on spending a lot of time waiting for the motor to cool down. For the price though, you really can't go wrong.

Shreds everything easily, including credit cards. Got it on sale, totally worth it.

This has got to be my favorite shredder ever. I can shred a lot of documents and it has never overheated.

We've now gone through 4 different shredders all of which died after a short while. Yes we do a lot of shredding but so far this shredder seems to be handling the volume quite well. It does still overheat at times but not nearly as often as our previous ones. Would recommend it to our friends.

I mainly shred old bills - this is compact and does the job for basic documents and the price was right!

Good shredder. Easy to use. Gets hot and jams unless you reverse the teeth often to clear them.
