got it as part of thanks giving deal. and so far it seems to work fine. I'm expecting this to work with out problem for few years. so its too early to say its good or great . anything less than 4-5 yrs of decent performance make it not worthy. But its good so far.(I had it for about a month)

This is a great shredder for home office use. So far I've shredded old credit cards, office documents, bills, investment summaries, and documents that had been stapled and it has been able to handle the job. Although it is a 6 Sheet shredder it works most efficiently when doing 3 or 4 pages at a time. Great buy for the money.

Great shredder great price great value works as it should

Works really well. I just wouldn't push it with 10 sheets. and when it's getting full use reverse to get rid of the final shreds before you pick up the top to avoid lots of pieces from falling out when you remove the top. It seems really sturdy.

This shredder is a really reasonable price and does the job exactly how I was hoping. I am very pleased.

I am always worried about losing my identity to theft. I wanted a good shredder that would help with that. This one fit all my needs. Its crosscut shredding is great and it can take any junk mail I have put it in. Those fake cards or even cds are not an issue. I have shoved to much in it once but it has a reverse and was easy to unclog and fix. Dont regret getting this one.

It shreds paper like it's supposed to. Also shreds credit cards.

Overall It does the job and good for the price. Only reason giving a 4 stars was because bottom bucket it’s very light material, like it can easily break. I don’t have kids if you do consider take this in mind.

good to protect your id information. destroy all papers that contains personal information. works great.

I have now used this shredder for a couple of weeks now and it is a very adequate shredder. it does credit cards well, just don't do one after one, give it a break in between, like a few seconds. Also, after six sheets at a time you can hear the motor chugging, It is still a worthy shredder. I recommend it for the price and what it can do, We shall see how long it lasts, I will update if it goes south. We shred a lot,

I like the 10 sheet ability of the shredder and the handle for lifting and carrying the shredder and it is stylish. The waste basket does not stay with the shredder when using the handle up top. It was functional as advertised. I was not impressed with the speed and noise of this model.

The crosscut is excellent. Bought it at a discount, probably under $20. To be safe use tweezers to clear the residual shredded paper to avoid jamming. Don't fret if it jams, just work on the jam and use the reverse switch. Preferably insert one sheet at a time to get better fluid productivity. If possible get product protection plan otherwise pay attention to sales and get this.

Historically I've taken items to shred to the office but all that changes recently and I needed a good solution for the home office. This product from Insignia was a great value and I was impressed with the ability to shred up to 10 pages at a time. It's been put to the test already and does an excellent job. Great value and highly recommend!

This has worked great. I've had it for a year now and it's still working great

shreds ok after 20 min it does get a bit warm you need to power off and wait 10 minutes before turning it back on. for the price it's fine if you do not have patience this is not for you. it works for me.

No issues, goes through paper and credit cards just fine, no overheating.

Durable, easy to use, and lightweight. So far, really like it.
