Excellent small volume shredder for home and home office use. The plastic bin isn’t the most sturdy but does a good job supporting the shredder unit.

I’m in the process of cleaning out 20 years of stored boxes. Most of it is paperwork. This crosscut shredder keeps tearing up the contents and only needs a rest every once in a while. Worth the money.

Works as describes. Sounds of struggle when 5 or six regular pieces of paper are heard when they are inserted. The reverse feature works well. Credit cards are nicely destroyed.

A good quality shredder for the price, nice feature is the motor-heat indicator to help prevent over-heating motor and damaging the shredder. I still use a timer for limiting use time to prevent over-heating and damaging my shredder.

For the money, this shredder has more than performed. As long as you stay within the manufacturer guidelines on number of sheets and type of material shredded, this thing cuts right through.

The insignia 10-sheet cross shredder performs well for most home shredding needs. We have mainly used the shredder to destroy the numerous credit card offers and older financial paperwork. The 10-sheet capacity is enough for most needs.

Excellent shredder for the budget minded buyer. It shreds through several pages simultaneously with no issue. It can get bogged down with unopened junk mail such as a credit application, but overall performs very well.

I had been looking for a new shredder as mine was already over 6 years old and not shredding anymore. I researched reviews and prices and compared all. For the price, this cross shredder seemed to be the best of the bunch. I was happy with the results. The cross shredding really does shred well and I don't even have to remove the staples.

Got on sale. Does the job I need it to...just basic shredding for miscellaneous things. Good shredder for the money. It handles about 4-5 pages or less really well. Slows down a bit for 6 or more, but not bad.

This shredder is easy to use, store, and maintain. One feature about a smaller unit is that it is easier to service/empty and I have less debri falling on the floor compared to other units that could be considered industrial or large to handle.

I bought this shredder after I read the reviews on it! It works great so far and it was not expensive! I guess if it last 4-5 years like my previous one did, I will be very happy with it! :)
