This is good if you aren't shredding a lot of documents at once. It only takes about 6 at a time and will quickly overheat. Good price if you aren't doing a tone of shredding.

Sized small enouugh to go under the desk, shreds well!

I was having doubts because of some of the reviews but you're just suppose to let it rest for a bit after continuous use and is not meant for an office heavy duty shredding. I use it a home and shred as I receive my junk or confidential mail so it does it's job well. And you can't beat the price.

I wanted a shredded for my home. I don’t have a large quantity to shred just the occasional purge and daily junk mail but I still wanted one that would last many years and handle as much as I have without spending a lot. This fits my needs perfectly.

I don't use this item a lot but it works well for my purposes. I got what I paid for. Makes a mess when I empty it but I suppose I could put a bag in the catch bin.

This shredder is compact and fits right under my desk for storage. When I need to shred a good amount of paper, I just pull it out from under my desk and start shredding. It has shredded everything with no problem and I love that it has a large bin capacity so I don't find myself constantly having to empty the bin out.

Does its job. Shreddes paper.great price. Great for home use.

I like my little shredder but it does heat up quick after 30 minutes. I need to space it out in between & only put 5 papers at a time. Other than that so far so good.

I’ve been looking for a good shredder that will shred multiple papers at a time and able to have a spot to shred cards. I put it to the test since I’ve been saving to shred. It works amazing small little pieces, lol looked like it was snowing. Space saver as well

Its smooth not noisy at all. Delivery was on time, its compact! easy to operate. I didn't give it five because the pieces are a little big but its not a micro shredder.

Seems to do good job shredding but some mail needs to be folded to fit through the shredder. So it you don't do a lot of shredding and want a compact unit, this might be what would work for you.

Very effective, make sure that items to be shredded are placed in straight as directed. If paperwork is folded it doubles the sheet intake and may clog the mechanism. Very good for the price.

So far it has worked pretty well. Good for shredding small quantities of papers. It would overheat quickly if you had a lot of shredding to do- but overall satisfactory for minimal personal use.

got my money's worth out of this product. It does tend to overheat faster when shredding 3+ papers at a time, so it's perfect for people who don't always need to shred papers.

Instead of throwing my personal mail and files in the regular garbage with my name and info exposed I needed to shred. Does what it needs to do So far. Perfect for home office.

Good product for the price. Overheats easily but for the price not a huge deal. Another solid product from Insignia, big fan.
