Works but if you have a lot to shred it will overheat and then you have to wait 30 minutes to cool off. Basket is small but knew that from size of box.

We purchased this shredder when our old shredder failed. We're very pleased with the crosscut operation to destroy sensitive personal and financial paperwork, plus the ability to even shred old credit cards without jamming.

Does a decent job for small jobs, will burn out easily if you overwork it for too long, which is a pain waiting for it to cool down. Jammed it once with paper overload. Good for small household jobs.

This shredder works great for as inexpensive as it is. It's not very fast and can not do a lot of pages at once, but it cross cuts several pages at a time very good and credt cards as well.

This is a good beginners shredder. For light shredding of documents. I wouldn't use this if you have a lot of papers to shred because the motor will heat up and stop working until it cools down.

Shredder works well, except that it overheats frequently. However, when that happens you need to turn it off for about 10 minutes to let it cool down, and then it will work again.

For the price it works very well, can shred more then just 10 sheets and the basket can hold a lot of trash. Took one star off just for the color...wish it was in a darker color and not grey.

Bogs down easy and sounds like it can’t handle but a page or 2 but it cut on thru ; device is kinda loud, but seems to work as soon ntended

I bought this shredder with low expectations with it not being a name brand. Well, very surprise at how well it shreds. Didn’t test exactly how many pages it will do at once, but I did put 5-6 pages and it shredded no problem. Would recommend.

This inexpensive cross cutting Shredder is excellent for security shredding for normal households . This 6 page shredder works well and relatively quiet.

With pandemic, I couldn’t shred papers in office and kept storing for more than one and half years. Here comes the savior.. it is simple and good. Did shredding good.. also comes with reasonable price…

For the size and the price I pad for it I like that I can shred all my sensitive documents. Fits nicely in my office.

I've only used it 3 times. If you have a lot to shred, be patient. If you try to shred a lot, the machine will overheat and shut down. You'll have to wait about 5-10 minutes before you can start shredding again.

I purchased this shredder a few weeks ago. I Love it! I was looking for something basic for my home since my shredder of ten years decided to kick the bucket.

Good basic shredder! Shreds old plastic cards too. We put a plastic grocery bag in the bin to help with disposal of the shredding. Great value,

At this price point, it’s a steal. Helpful lights on top tell you when it overheats and when it’s ready to resume again. But just for regular household shredding it’s more than adequate.

This is a good basic shredder for use at home. It cannot take many sheets and has gotten clogged up a few times but it gets the job done for the price paid.

Good for personal usage. I use it almost every week for throwing away all personal mails with addresses and PII. I like it.

The previous one I had, from another store, not Best Buy, was too small. Had to fold all the paper to be sent through the shredder plus it would over heat after just a couple pieces of paper. Love the design I bought from Best Buy. Just perfect!! And you don't have to fold the paper!!

Unit seemed to do a fine job with a very large pile of papers since my old one gave out. I little noisy, but really, who cares. Now I only need to do a little at a time, and so far, so good!
