At this price point, it’s a steal. Helpful lights on top tell you when it overheats and when it’s ready to resume again. But just for regular household shredding it’s more than adequate.

It’s a great little shredder to keep near your desk for few sheets shreds….I bought it on sale for $15 so can’t beat it

There seems to be a little lag time from when the paper is inserted and it starts cutting. I guess that’s ok. It shreds fine.

I have never expected this item to last me a life time but I did expect better. First of all it is not able to shred 6 sheets at a time. It over heats when it does work. It gets jammed and doesn’t shred completely. It’s not worth buying. I have never purchased this brand and I never will again. From what I understand it is a Best Buy brand. It is unreliable and not worth the purchase. If you want some thing that last and actually works stay away. Did I mention that the motor just burnt out. What a horrible smell.

I've only used it 3 times. If you have a lot to shred, be patient. If you try to shred a lot, the machine will overheat and shut down. You'll have to wait about 5-10 minutes before you can start shredding again.

This is a good basic shredder for use at home. It cannot take many sheets and has gotten clogged up a few times but it gets the job done for the price paid.

This is the best shredder at this price. It does after a while of shredding auto shut off because it gets too heated. But that’s only because I was shredding a lot of papers in an hour time. If you use it periodically there’s no issues.

The previous one I had, from another store, not Best Buy, was too small. Had to fold all the paper to be sent through the shredder plus it would over heat after just a couple pieces of paper. Love the design I bought from Best Buy. Just perfect!! And you don't have to fold the paper!!

Unit seemed to do a fine job with a very large pile of papers since my old one gave out. I little noisy, but really, who cares. Now I only need to do a little at a time, and so far, so good!

This is a great shredder. It works like a shredder should. If you shred credit cards make sure they're actually broken apart. I checked and it cut them but the pieces were all still connected.

I got it on the open box sale for a great price! It works wonderfully! I mostly shred my address off mail I receive. But it does handle lots of continuous shredding and doesn't overheat. Love it!

Works well for the occasional paper shreds, not a heavy duty one if that is what you are looking for. I like the small window at front that shows when the can is almost full and it’s time to empty. What I like the most is that is not bulky and fits nicely under my desk.

Ease of feeding paper was great but must adhere to feeding not more than 4-5 sheets at a time to prevent stoppage of machine. Otherwise great for home use.

This is a great shredder. It is powerful and does a great job shredding. It is heavy when emptying and causes a bit of a mess but all in all great!

I needed a shredder for my personal papers. This shredder is amazing and even shreds credit cards with ease. I only hope this shredder could shred more sheets at a time.

Very good for a reasonable home one. Rarely gets jammed . It will overheat and stop if you've been going a while so I let it sit for 10 minutes and its good to go

The shredder work great. It did stop one one point to cool down. We had a lot of papers to shred. But within a couple minutes it was good to go. I would recommend it.

Shredding for home office needs works nice. I've been doing 6-9 sheets and it works fine. Also works with brochures, credit cards with no problems so far. There's a reverse button in case paper is jammed. I always try not to abuse any machine so this been a great aid to our home.

Its good for home use,but use it repeatedly for a half an hour it'll over heat. That said it does what is advised. A great buy for light home use

I relented to get this shredder at first because it was so small. After doing some shopping online & in store I found this to be the best deal going for my mild shred use. I have to say that I am pleased with my purchase. This model can shred quite a bit and it is powerful.
