This shredder does the job. It is a true cross cut shredder, thoroughly shreds your documents. Some shredders claim to be cross cuts but are not, this is the real deal.

Still going strong well after a year. I work in the financial field and I can not stress the importance of shredding documents with private information before putting into the trash. Identity theft is no joke, protect yourself whenever you can!

Wow, where to start. After moving 3 states in 4 years we accumulated a lot of mail and stuff we couldn’t get rid off. With this shredder, we’ve shred possibly 3-4 bags of documents and private info. Works like a charm

Needed to get rid of a lot of paper. Most of mine is less than the max sheets to be shredded at a time but I was impressed with how well the machine handled the plastic cards.

I bought this on sale and had some reservations due to trying the Insignia brand for the first time. No worries, for $39 on sale this shredder handles like a champ and rarely overheats like most models. You can skip the name office brands and use this to save some $$. Great for home use.

I purchased this shredder to replace my dated shredder and I love it because of the cross cutting that makes it hard for anyone who would try to read the shredded document.

It's a great shredder. Does everything it says it does. I will say it's not so much quiet as a loud muffled sound instead of the loud shrill noise my old one had. I'm very happy with it though, it looked small but it's only an inch shorter than my old one.

It is a nice size for a home office. Works great. It does say, if you have a lot to shred to remember to shred for 3 minutes and then give it a break, which is what I did, and no problems at all.

Good pricing on everything it claimed to be. Eat’s it up, chews it mercilessly, and cleanly gathers bits and pieces for appropriate disposition. Did I mention that it is everything it claims to be!

I'm not a heavy shredder so this item may be overkill for me but very happy with it. The maximum number of sheets I have shredded in one shot is six and it handled it well. I like the size of the bin as well.

I recently burned out a different brand of shredder so I purchased this one to take care of the daily junk mail that never seems to stop. You can set it for Auto and leave it on and it makes it very easy to feed the junk mail on a daily basis.

Needed this as I have been receiving lot of junk/ad mails to shredd them…finally I can shred them ALL!!!!

It's not a super powerful shredder but it does what I need. I normally don't try to shred a lot at 1 time because it jams. But it does shred 6 at a time

Was looking for a shredder and was comparing a few different types of shredders and their brands, the brand is not found elsewhere, but believe this was a decent price for everything it does.

Works well but limits how much pieces of paper you can shred at the same time or it will Jam

Only used it for a few days, but it chews up everything we feed it including credit cards, and spits it all out in tiny little shredlets. I love the vicious snarling grinding noises it makes.

In this age of identity thief, one cannot be too careful about what is recycled. This shredder is easy to set up and takes care of eliminating personal information before it goes in the recycle bin.

I've only used it twice, but I've filled it both times. So far everything has worked fine. Easy set up

At first i was not so sure if this product will perform well but as soon as I started shredding papers i was surprise it really works good!
