I needed a data transfer cable to use with my old and new cell phones. I asked one of the sales representatives if there was one that would work with my older LG phone and my newer Google Pixel 3XL He took me over to a display where he took one off the rack and said "this will work. " Well, the Pixel takes a special proprietary USB connector and this was not iI have not returned it within the time frame for returns because of the coronovirus situation so I will probably be throwing it away.

I've been a long time customer of Best Buy having purchased most of my electronics from computer to smart tv. To router, ink and all. Best Buy is a great place to shop and can use some discounts and coupons too.

had to take to computer specialist to use their transfer cable. I had a broken prong , maybe that's why it did not register but there was no problem to do the transfer with the computer repairs cable.

I purchased this cord to transfer additional data, but it only recognized one computer (the one that I wanted to transfer data TO, not From)...

Not the product I was looking for. It would have been great if I was transferring files from Mac to PC. I just needed a regular cord. This will not work as a basic male to male cord due to built in software.

This item at first worked but pairing was awkward. After the first 20 minut s of transferring it lost connection and afterward I was unable to get it to pair again. Brought back.

This transfer cable has saved me a bunch of time. Instead of having to keep putting files on USB or a external hard drive I was able to hook up right from one computer to the other and direct send it. Great tool for a person who need to move data from one computer to another

This cable was purchased to use with a credit card machine connected to a PC. Worked well. My only beef - it was way to expensive for a USB cable and they didn't have many choices in store...

I only bought this because I needed a new cord for printer hook up to computer. Honestly, haven't used it just needed to replace an old one.

I was told by salesman that it would work to connect my HP computer to my Brother copier. It didn't work

Couldn't get it to work as advertised even with Geek Squad help. Returned for refund.

Decided not to try it on an upgrade from XP to Win 10, because there were no instructions for doing such, and even searches on the Internet were not helpful. Probably would not purchase it again. I guess I should have not assumed that it would work for connecting to a Win 10 box.

Followed directions within package, did not work. Went onto you tube for visual directions...was able to transfer a handful of files then stopped working.

It is a transfer cable and it did what it is supposed to do. The software is built in and it popped right up on the computer and was able to transfer files with ease.

This is very slow. I enddd up transferring everything to a flash drive and reloaded the new computer. It did what it said but was going to take a day and a half.

I asked for help to find the right USB to go from my computer to my printer. The sales rep gave me the wrong cord. Needless to say that I wasn't able to get anything done

This definitely does what it is advertised to do. If you have multiple pcs, laptops etc., easier way to keep them all in sync without backing up to the "cloud".

The product works as advertised. I would recommend this to anyone buying a new computer and needing to transfer all or just selected data to the new computer.

It wouldnt fit on my new computer, I tried to take it back but was told they couldn't because it was too long, well I had the FLU & Bronchitis so I couldn't bring it in.

Simply install, then transfer, that easy. Did my entire transfer in about an hour. Program install was simple. Transferring was pretty much point and click.
