Best Buy sometimes has just the item you need in stock, but it will be priced at least twice as much as you could get it for online (if you had time to wait).

This item blew 3 of my thumb drives and 2 of my USB hubs. Best Buy would not replace what was damaged.

Usually with a usb to usb cable I have no issue. This cable would recognize the Mac and then only allow me to use he stupid software on it. Horrible. Can't just be a plain Jane cable.

I could have returned it but with the discount and the gift certificate I used, it would be more costly to drive there for a return but this cable tends to get the job done.

Good idea - flawed excecution

If you do small folders or individual files it works as described.
