Bought this cable to transfer data from XP Professional to Windows 10. Software loaded fine. Drag and dropped worked. I just kept getting errors if I tried to drag and drop more than 50-60MB of data. Less than that worked well. But the whole reason to get this cable is to move large amounts of data at once. Insignia tech was useless. Maybe the problem was because the XP had USB 2.0 and the Windows 10 had USB 3.0 ports and XP couldn't keep up. Either way, this cable was useless for what I wanted. Oh, and Best Buy's ridiculous 14 day return policy meant I'm stuck with it. It makes a unique leash for walking my dog though.

Was unable to use this product due to the adapter I needed in conjunction with it was defective. I was running out of time under Best Buy’s 14-day return policy so I returned it without even using it.

I purchased this to transfer files between my shield TV and my PC but my PC wouldn't recognize my shield TV. Im not sure if it was a driver issue or a cable issue.

Mainly got this to hook up to a printer, but didn't seem to recognize it. Will go from a harddrive to a computer to transfer data.

Excellent cables for transfering data between PCs.

The cable got the job done but it wasn't as fast as I would have liked. I liked the fact that the software was embedded in the cable. Easier than installing software from a disk.

No complaints here! I love this little laptop. I had one that was 7-8 years old and it was about to call it quits on me. Granted it has taken me a bit to learn the new stuff but once I had a chance to use it I find it fairly easy. I don't use the tablet feature often but it's a nice option.

I purchased this to transfer my father's files and settings from a Windows Vista to a Windows 7 computer. It did everything from quickly and easily transferring files, but also carried over all settings, including his desktop wallpaper. We were very pleased.

Insignia makes decent products for a low price. I don't always want to pay a lot of many for the cables made by the big companies, so this is a good purchase. It does the trick for what I need.

I bought this to transfer big files between my desktop and my laptop. It works as expected although I would have preferred a faster transfer rate. Nevertheless it got the job done without any unexpected problems.

i just have a few thing to say about this cable. it is the smartest way to transfer date from one pc to another. so easy a caveman can do it. oops that's from a commercial but its true. this takes the hassle of buying software to transfer data which is a no brainer. this works for me.

I was worried about transferring my files from my Mac to my new PC with windows10. This cable was literally plug and play. I didn't have to do anything other than select the files I wanted and move them. Definitely worth the money.

The cable is flexible and easy to use. Connecting two computers together in order to transfer files is useful. Another useful tool for those of us who use computers for so many purposes.

This cable transfers data from one computer to another. You can purchase advanced functionality from the manufacturer for $30 to transfer an image of one computer to the next to transfer programs as well. It would not work so I tried to contact the manufacturer at their 24/7 service desk. I was on hold over an hour and received a message they were having trouble and they hung on me. I requested a refund for the premium service from their third party biller and they issued a refund.

I purchased one a lark, but have found it to be very useful. I helped a friend transfer a large number of files from an old computer to a new one in just a few minutes by simply plugging the cable into each computer and following the simple instructions. Much easier than many other methods.

Staff was fantastic in helping me find exactly the cord I needed! I am not the most tech savvy person, but after explaining what I needed, I had in my hands and was out the door in no time! Worked like a charm.

I've seen a lot of cables come and go: RCA plugs, 5-pin din plugs, serial cables, VGA, 1/4 inch jacks, 3mm, you name it. This cable is a cable's cable. Plug-in THIS end, plug-in THAT end and you're good to go.

I used this file transfer cable to move my documents and pictures from my PC to a new Apple computer. It worked great and did the job in transferring the files without having to download migration software to my PC which did not have an internet connection at the time.

it's simple , the cables have arrows on them , to show the direction to place them in the right direction .... It was a 1 - - 2 - - 3 operation checked it after installation , then power on and everything works great. Would recommend this set up to hook up DVD player and DVR to TV
