Mine is an extra in my cumputer bag. When I am on the road, I invariably need another, or a, USB 2.0 transfer cable. Well here it is. Now put me in a position to need a cable to do my presentation that was unexpected. Gotcha and now I am not embarrased.

I originally bought this for the ability to connect my laptop to larger TV screen or to transfer data from one device to another quicker. Also stereo and sound bars now all come with USB Jack's as well. Just wish cord was a 3.0 chord instesd.

I wanted a cable to transfer data between my PC and a Seagate external drive. The PC did not recognize the the external hard drive. After communicating with Insignia, I learned that their cable was not compatible with Windows 10. I returned the cable to Best Buy. After purchasing a straight USB to USB cable, I was still not able to transfer data.

This USB cable was perfect for what I needed it for. And let's not forget the great 6' length it comes in which lets you pretty much put it anywhere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a long USB cable.

Used it to transfer data between the main computer and a netbook. Primarily large raw photo files. Easy and efficient. Software in the cable so nothing additional is required.

i like the ability of the product but use is limited. A flash drive is quicker and cheaper. I do want the capability but honestly used it only once.

I purchased this product and after taking it home plug it in and found it didn't work on windows 7 taking it back for refund.

I looked around a few places closer to the house before going to Best Buy. I should have known to just go to Best Buy first they have everything! I needed a cable with a usb connector on each end. Absolutely no one had it except Best Buy. Thanks Best Buy!

This was easy to use. Was better than I hoped and I'll use again when needed. The salesperson said it would go great and it did.

I needed an old USB to USB that had no software on it to charge this old piece of equipment I have at work. This didn't work because it was to new.

Easy to use, just plug in and software loads automatically. It will copy data files, but software must still be reinstalled. This is more of a limitation/requirement of Windows.

I am so glad that one no longer has to match the transfer cable to the specific Windows programs. I have a collection of these costing $35 each. Now, I saved $10 and can do the same thing between platforns.

Needed to transfer files from my old Dell to my new HP laptop and this is the best transfer cable I have ever used and I have used 3 or 4 over the last 5 or 6 years. Very easy to use and can not recommend it more.

I did not realize this USB cord had a program installed in it to transfer info. I found it a little hard to use. But once I had a hang of it everything went a lot faster.

It does what is suppose to do. Connects and transfers files without issues. Sometimes permission to transfer files is required. Do. Ot need an extra program. The cable is all you need to transfer files.

At first the salesperson couldn't get it working but I took it home and got my data transferred after I made sure wifi was operating.

I purchased this because I needed a Simple Transfer Cable to get my Files off my Old PC (Linux PC) to my New Laptop (Windows PC) but the design doesn't allow this connection. The Install-Drivers are stored in the Cable Plug (like a USB-Thumb Drives Drivers) so it will work Windows to Windows, but Isn't Recognized in Linux. If you have Windows or MAC it should work, but us Linux people are a bit left behind.

This is a cable it works. If you need a usb cord extension this is for you. It doesn’t glow in the dark or flash red and green. It just connects two things. That’s all that it does.

I’m unsure of what the cable was needed for exactly but I know it had something to do with our printer. My fiancé said that it worked perfectly for the job. The price was also awesome and less expensive than a lot of other places.
