It does the job as explained by the customer assistant at the store. It is easily used and I had no problems connecting it to the two electronic devices.

I wanted to transfer about 450 GB from my desk top to my new lap top computer. Both are Intel I-7s. It took about 12 hours. That seems a little slow to me. If I had to do that again, I would have used a USB 2 or 3 memory stick, which would require several transfers, but it seems that would have been faster.

The narrative instructions could be better as well for inexperienced users, giving each step and what happens in greater detail and making clearer the distinction between Mac and PC procedures. The product itself works fine if you understand what you are doing.

There's only so many uses for a USB to USB cable. While useful, I'm not sure the price is low enough for what it does.

The cords worked well for me. 6ft was long enough for my needs.

This transfer cable has software that is a little confusing to use but it gets the job done.
