used once so far and had a problem

According to the tech person with outlook I had to call to install the program online, they said I had caused my brand new laptop to have some bug that came thru the wire which did not allow outlook to load onto my computer. also, I am not sure if you can just plug in the wire and use programs on the computer to transfer stuff thru this wire. the one time I have used this, I had a the problem with the bug being transfered and have not used it since. I dont know enough to be able to recommend this to anyone
