Luckily, I found a Logitech C270 at Target. Unfortunately, the cord was too short to reach from my monitor to my tower. This USB extension works with the C270. The camera is USB 2.0 and powered by USB cable. It has a relatively thick cord, so I think it should be able to send data and low power well. But personally, I would want to charge high power things through it since energy loss is proportional to length.

I have a wall mount and wanted to run the cable from the USB port on the TV to the drive through the wall mount and keep the cable hidden. I was concerned that the 12' foot length would cause problems with transferring images/videos from the dirve to the TV but there were no problems. Works great.
