I would not recommend this. This extension does not carry the signal well enough to charge the ipad while using it. The ipad will use more power than this extension can send to it.

The way my home office is setup, my wireless mouse is 2.5 feet away from the desktop PC with a hutch and monitor between the two. The USB receiver was plugged into the back of the PC to keep the front USB slots available for other uses. This was causing the signal to my mouse to have issues. I purchased this cable, plugged it into the back of the PC, and routed the other end under the hutch so it was only 12 inches from the mouse. Problem solved.

Cable not much else to it. It was a bit expensive.

Wanted to connect my flash drive to our new wall mounted tv without having to pull tv out every time. First bought a sync wire at the big online megastore. The female end was way too tight so that it wouldn't fit. They were kind to give me a refund without returning item but I still wanted one that worked. It was only $8 there compared to $25 at Best Buy but this insignia brand works perfectly. Yay!!!

Insignia has performed the same, if not better, than major brands. There is no reason to spend more money for something that does the same thing.

The manufacture of this cable is sound and it has been serving in the purpose it was purchased for.

I added this to a mini usb cable that was too short. Tried on a usb to terminal - not enough signal, tried on drive to usb. Enough signal to see the drive not enough to read the files on the drive. In short this is too long for some devices. Choose the shortest you need. Dont go 6 foot if you can get by with 3ft.

Used it for a run in my car to extend the USB connection from my headunit. It's very thin, which made it great for my application.

Perfect if you need a longer cable to plug in your USB device!

I wanted a USB extension cable for my gaming PC to connect to Xbox One controller. I already have a 6' USB to mini-USB cable. I wanted to have more room to stretch. Bought this, connected it and started playing PC game and heard a ding and noticed controller wouldn't function. I unplugged mini-USB back into controller, heard the ding and it worked. This has done this about 8 times and it is very frustrating. I'm taking back, and getting the Xbox One wireless adaptor to play PC games with wireless controller.

Needed an extension cable for a printer, this worked great!

I needed to span 15'. The longest USB cable I could purchase was 10'. This 6' extensions solved the problem.
