I always pull directly from the end that connects to my phone not the cord. In one months time the cable has gone bad. If my phone is jostled or the cable isn't at the perfect angle it no longer connects correctly to charge or for use with Android Auto. Buy a different brand.

I am dissatisfied with item. It does not seem made any better than your average cable. It miggt be damaged bc it's no charging well.

Cable falls out of phone

So safe to say this cord couldnt hold up

Speaker distortion and lack of manual tuning in a flimsy housing made this product easy to return. I thought I might get a unit comparable to the SONY I used to have. I didn't. The SONY was solid, with decent sound and accessible tuning. This BESTBUY knockoff not worth it.

I'm guessing the cord was fine , its just that the newer phones require "true" manufacturers parts.
