Nonetheless, it still works the way that its supposed to. It just wont be used as my main charger.

I bought this to establish Oculus Link with my vr ready pc, but this cord DOES NOT support the required USB connection. If your pc is vr ready, chances are it has USB 3.0 ports so you will need a different cord if you plan to play oculus rift games on your quest or quest 2. Admittedly, I did not do enough research until after finding out that this cord did not work for my computer and quest 2, so there is nothing inherently wrong with the cord as it still does charge my quest at a good speed, I just had to return it because some other comments and reviews were misleading and told me it would work with my quest 2. hope this helps someone else as i wish i had seen a review like this earlier.
