Cable that came with phone was defective. Would not charge. This cord works beautifully. Price was inexpensive. Cable could be shorter but does charge phone relatively quickly. Geek squad person that helped me at Amarillo Best Buy was professional and helped me find and purchase what I needed.

Maybe it is normal wear and tear after 1 year, but I wish Insignia would try to improve the durability or better flexibility of the coating. Another reason is was on-sale, so by the time it breaks, my mom would probably have a new phone with a Type-C to Type-A/C charging USB cable.

I’m still a few series behind with ny iphone and this makes a huge difference when it comes to charging. I recommend getting the anker charger that has two lighting ports and one usb port. It’s high in voltage i think 65 which will charge a laptop.
