Long story short, i stopped using it and its somewhere in my bedroom and i dont care to find it anytime soon.

But since it would not also carry a charge it was of no use to me as the current cable I have does both. Only reason I bought this cable was it was longer and I needed that. Went back to Best Buy to purchase a new tv. The tv was defective and I returned it. Had problem with return due to ridiculous inflexibility of return rules. Won't be returning these because I am not going back to that store. Come pick them up if you need them.
