The cable that came with the iPad was to short for the way my wife uses it and this cable is the right lenght and works great.

Those tended to wear out fairly quickly like the apple branded usb-c cable but this newer version is a welcome update that seems much more durable with the nylon braiding.

Almost was sold the slower c port to a port because assistant assumed my car did not have the faster c port in my car. Android auto with old slow phone used to lock up. With new faster phone and the c port android auto is working great with this cable.

Cool idea until solar doesn't work for some reason and your a iPhone house and lost charger is all I gotta say But ya buy this cord it is nice and works great!
