    I bought these cables to replace a MacBook Air's USB-C for the third time. The Apple cable has a design flaw that causes it to bend "too much" at the ends of the cable, the wires become exposed and the cable stops working - after less than a year of use. These Insignia cables are made of an entirely different material that is flexible but stronger than the Apple product. The design of the Insignia cables make them impossible to bend "too much". Very happy with them.

    I'm always breaking wires by closing drawers on them or walking on them. This time, the cord crunched from being in the car at -10° F. My phone and other electronics charge faster, more efficiently on the new cord.
