When on sale, Insignia with FireTV is my go to TV for all-in one packaging due to value, The FireTV as part of the operating system (OS) on the TV is great as long as you don't load too many apps (leading to below 700mb space; this will cause the television to be slow). Best app that I have been using lately is PLEX (free). I load TV and video files on a computer with PLEX server (free), and I can watch all of my own content streamed to my Insignia FireTV. I got this Insignia 65" for $300 during the one-day sale in late November 2020. Add on the AMEX $25 promotion credit, getting this was a no brainer as I was in the market for another television. Comparing this to OLED or Q series or high end units (>$1000-2000) is not a fair comparison. Those units better be the cream of the crop with zero issues for their price. This TV is what it is. A bargain (< $500) 4k 65" television with FireTV built-in and an average screen. The screen is average because of Dirty Screen Effect. Blotches or shadowy vertical line blobs scattered across the screen (like 2-4). The first unit was very noticeable, so I had to exchange it. BestBuy was great. The original purchase was ordered online with delivery, so I called customer service, and they delivered a second unit to me and took the old unit back. No stock was available locally, but them delivering a new unit was better as I didn't have to find time, large vehicle, and a friend to help with hauling it back to the store. Delivery guys were great. After looking at my two 55" Insignia4k ($250 each) and 46" Hisense 4k ($225), I can tell you that all three have DSE when testing via a DSE test video on YouTube. However, while viewing usual TV content, they are practically unnoticeable unless looking for it during cloudy/smoky, white, light brown scenes. The same case for my newly exchanged 65" Insignia. DSE is still there, but not noticeable since it is further left and not as contrasting as the first unit. I would say, if the picture bothers you for some unknown reason while it is panning side to side, it could be DSE. Don't necessarily look for a video test unless you want to look for it all the time, but if you are considering exchanging the unit, then by all means check if that is what the issue is. You have a good chance of getting a better unit given the number of positive reviews. Worse case, just return for a refund even after the 2nd unit. NOTE: Another option is to look at it from a side angle with a 100% black screen (like on boot) while turned on. You'll be able to see DSE if present - uneven uniformity of the blackness.

I have used this tv only a month. For the price, I don't think I could have found a better one. The picture is as good or better than other brands selling at twice the price! The unit was easy to setup. This unit has not given me any problems so far!! I will recommend this tv for the budget minded. My 65" 4K UHD cost less than $500. I easily hooked up my surround sound system and I use the built in Amazon Prime to stream movies and TV shows. Overall, an enjoyable experience!

I purchased the tv on a flash sale. I had good experiences with Insignia tvs in the past so I gave it a try. But I couldn't belive the quality for the value once it was up and running. The picture is sharp and the sound is quite adequate, no sound bar needed. Fire tv is integrated so streaming is a smooth and seamless process. I would recommend this tv and am very happy with my purchase. The only issue that arose was the mounting screw locations are on the lower part of the set so the wall mount had to be moved down to center the tv over the mantle.

I am happy to provide you with a positive review for the Insignia 65 inch TV. Firstly, the picture quality is exceptional. The clarity and color accuracy are truly impressive, making it a pleasure to watch even the most fast-paced action scenes or visually stunning nature documentaries. The 4K Ultra HD resolution and HDR support allow for an immersive viewing experience that is sure to impress. Secondly, the sound quality is also noteworthy. The built-in speakers provide clear and powerful audio that enhances the overall viewing experience. Additionally, there are multiple sound modes to choose from, which allows for customization based on personal preferences. Thirdly, the TV itself is sleek and stylish. This is an excellent television. Great picture clarity even from side angles. Nice large screen. Set up took about 3 minutes to screw on the legs and about and just a few more to set it up with the remote. The smart tv (firestick) aspect works great. The television is intuitive. For example, if the kids turn on the nintendo switch, the television automatically switches over to the HDMI port. Same thing with the DVD player, etc. Incredible value for the price.

I bought this television for my nieces to replace a broken television and it was a good buy.The price was under 400 dollars for a 65 inch 4K Smart Fire TV. The picture is clear and High Dynamic Range is bright and colors are vibrant as we stream 4K content. The Fire TV remote is very easy to use and the are plenty of streaming Apps. the speakers are adequate.

Moved to a new house in November and Purchased the 70” Tv special of another brand and the 50 inch version of this brand. Although the I got the bigger 70” at a good price- not my favorite. Remote is just whacked. The Insignia 50” was put in our bedroom. So simple and easy to use it became my favorite. In March they had a special on this 65” and I had points to use so I just had to buy it and gave the 50” to my Dad which was a step up for him from his 32”.

This is the third Fire TV we have purchased for our family of seven. Actually, our oldest son used his own money to purchase this one on a great Cyber Weekend deal after he loved the ones we had. Although these TVs aren't perfect, they are easy to use for the smart tv part, the picture quality is wonderful (especially for the price), and we have recommended these to family members who have purchased Fire TVs for themselves, and everyone has been happy with their purchase.

Love this TV, Its the second one i have bought, the 65" has an amazing picture quality - everything looks multi dimensional when you watch, great color, sharp picture a the perfect size. Its easy to use, we have had a few different smart TVs and the Fire TV is by far the best. It definitely out performs our other TVs. I highly recommend it.

Great product ! I have always been a fan of Inisgnia brand.. I couldn’t find a cover for the remote easily to product it’s life cycle. TV audio is amazing .. it was a great move to partner with Amazon to create a fire tv.. I have an Insignia 55 and the sound is total different from the new 65 LeD smart 4K.. can’t wait to see what they come up with next.. I still need 1 more TV

I have had this product since Cyber Monday. No problems whatsoever! Now, if you notice after about Dec 15th 2020, 2 weeks ago, Amazon-Insignia put out a FIRMWARE UPDATE that has a bug in it. It can cause Horizontal scrolling line if watching Live TV using some cable providers. Insignia-Amazon will put out FIX for this issue soon. I have NOT experienced this. Using the Fire TV apps does NOT have this problem. I plugged in my PC using HDMI and no problems. I plugged in TIVO DVR watching LIVE and Recorded shows, no problems at all. It would help if people that experience the scrolling issue tell us what is plugged into your TV. Before 12/20/2020 there were no scrolling issue. Obviously if mid-dec-firmware update screwed with certain cable providers signal, Insignia/Amazon is aware of this issue and working on fix. Great TV. What I like is even tv shows/movies that are at 350 meg sizes or 700 meg sizes, look amazing using my PC plugged into this TV. The upscaling is great. I wasn't expecting low meg video to look so good in 65 inch. Looking at Amazon Prime 4k UHD videos look amazing. Also, looking at YouTube 4k UHD demo videos look amazing. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year

We waited for a longtime to buy 70 inch TV and this looks beautiful on my wall. The FireTV features are good, but memory space and speed can be better. The picture is too bright with backlight so I had to reduce brightness. Sound quality is awesome and could hear dts effects clearly. Overall worth the price paid.

Not much to say about this TV it wasn't very expensive so I guess for the price you shouldn't expect a whole lot there's some white bleed through the screen at the top and bottom The sound quality is amazing just not real loud that was what I was most impressed about . what I was really discouraged about is the over-the-air content is horrible brightness is good ,picture is good, streaming is good and I would think that a lot of people that don't have a lot of money watch TV over the air since it's free and that's where this TV does not work out haven't returned it yet but thinking about it just because of over the air content and the bleading lights through the screen. can't tell it while you're watching something. it's when it's on the home screen and what not. Color is okay . If you don't have a lot of money I guess I would recommend this TV at least until you can save up to get something better.
