    TV has good clarity but volume not good also while watching a TV show or what ever, it all of a sudden goes back to the beginning of the fire TV app. Thus my TV has been exchanged for a another one, so far no good, TV still going back to the beginning of the fire TV app, the volume still not good. Just have to add a sound bar.

    I purchased this item but unfortunately when it was delivered it was damaged but was replaced with no problems. Now I’m able to enjoy a nice view and quality sound.

    This tv is incredibly SLOW. The OS is Terrible, sound is really really bad and cuts out often- usually to do with poor connectivity (and no it's not our internet). We replaced a 10 yr old Samsung with this and if I could go back to that tv I WOULD. This thing SUCKS. It's clunky, it's slow- navigating and bringing up applications, it frequently has to be shut off and turned back on due to it getting "confused". The remote is equally as bad; we even bought a replacement thinking that might be part of the issue- there's $20 worthless bucks spent. It seems to suffer from some kind of software decline or glitch where it's slow to progress when switching apps like Netflix or simply going to Amazon video. There are VERY limited options for video picture quality, brightness and such. The picture quality is ok but we keep it in game mode because movies and such seem a little cartoonish at times but also in the default setting its like you are watching something in cheesy soap opera mode. The most annoying thing bottom line is the terribly slow and crummy OS which works when it wants to. We even deleted some applications thinking it might be a memory issue- it's not. As our first Firetv we had higher expectations and sadly we won't EVER buy another Firetv again given the terrible quality this thing is. It's now graduated to flashing on/off when scrolling through antenna and guide tv channels- it also screws up the sound so we have to basically turn it off for about 10 minutes and give it a "time out" and get it working ok again. We bought the warranty but good luck getting ANYONE to take this seriously. We got smart and took a few videos which I'm going to post so the crummy repair/insurance people can't say it's our imagination now. This thing was made BY THE DEVIL BEZOS HIMSELF. Do not buy it unless you're ready to take a chainsaw or baseball bat to it because that's about all it's good for. If BB/Allstate does not honor the insurance we paid on it- the next video we post will be us taking our rage out on it "Office Space" style in the middle of an abandoned field with baseball bats and such. I can't stress enough what an unbelievable pile of crap this thing is.

    Great tv for great price!!! Would buy again, recommend getting mounted but thats just my opinion. Looks great on the wall tho!

    I purchased one of these units to replace an older Insignia TV set that I had for almost ten years before I had an issue. I've had many Insignia sets over the years for different purposes at work and home, and it has always been a good value brand with good reliability. At the time of purchase, there were very few reviews and the older version, the F30 series, had almost 5 star reviews across the board. Upon setup, the picture was clear, but I felt that the bright whites on the display had a yellow tint to them and I felt that the color representation was worse than my previous 1080p set. I did mess with the settings to calibrate the set, and it improved, but it still was not what I expected. That said, for the price, it still was a fantastic set. I did feel that the HDR10 content produced a better picture than the Dolby Vision content on this particular set. After two days of use, the HDMI ports stopped working. The signals would blink on and off or produce garbled pictures on screen. After calling the Geek Squad, they said they had seen this issue on a few sets and to go ahead and bring it back for a refund exchange, or they could send someone out at no charge to pick it up with a replacement. I elected to bring it back, but 5 stars for Best Buy's service level. Rather than get another F50 set, I elected to get the older F30 set because I didn't want to potentially deal with the issues again. While I think the F50 appears to have more dynamic range, the F30 set produces good whites and runs 4K HDR10 content great. The F30 was even cheaper, and it has been running great so far after a couple of weeks. It is missing some features, such as fluid motion frames and Dolby Vision, but I found myself turning those off for the couple of days I had the F50. Sound quality was acceptable for built-in speakers. The TV interfaced just fine with my soundbar I had been using prior. Overall, I think it could be a good set, if you didn't get one with a bad motherboard. 1/5 based on my personal experience, but if the set had worked properly, I would give it a 3.5/5 or 4/5, mainly based on the features for the price. 5/5 if it worked and had brighter white levels. 5/5 for Best Buy's Geek Squad and level of service for returning.
