I took perfect care of this charger- like no charger I'd had before- because as a broke college student I wanted to make sure it lasted. I took my computer and charger with me to campus/a study spot regularly, but when I did I took care to wrap it up properly. The cord still has the original kinks in it from when it was folded up in the original packaging. A little under a year after I bought it, however, it stopped working. I thought the problem was my computer since it is several years older than the charger, so I stopped using my laptop until I could get it looked at. A few weeks later I found out it was the charger (but can't figure out what is wrong with it) and not my laptop, just a few days after my warranty expired. For how much it cost me I'm very disappointed. The Best Buy employee who I asked for help wasn't able to help much when I asked for someone to make sure I got the right charger, despite bringing in my old one to compare. He just pointed me to this charger (the most expensive one they had) because he said something like "this one is most likely to work because of all the options". I will never buy an insignia charger (and maybe any other insignia product) again, and definitely not from Best Buy.

I unfortunately lost my charger to my Asus Q302U. I bought this universal replacement thinking Insignia is a well known Best Buy Brand ( they manufacture it after all ). Charger unfortunately stopped charging my battery/working all together. For about $30 less, I was able to find a direct OEM replacement. This product is a bit too expensive for what it is, would it have been cheaper/same cost as OEM, I would have tried another one.

Needed a new power supply for my laptop, cheapest one available and works quite nicely.

I bought this for my Dell Vostro 5502. I have been trying to get the correct tip for my machine for over 2 and a half months. I was finally informed that they don't make a tip for my computer. It is not returnable to Best Buy as I have had it too long. I would not recommend this brand to my worst enemy. My recommendation is to avoid this brand at all costs and get one from the company that makes your machine as I've been without a functioning computer for over 2 months.

Do NOT buy this product! Their website didn't work. When I finally managed to get through its confusion to learn which tip (i.e. the little thing that sticks in the charging jack at the left back of most laptops) I should choose for my Dell Inspiron, their recommendation turned out to be simply incorrect. I know this because the the tip they said I should chose was to fat to fit my laptop. Which was lucky - if you pick the wrong one you could fry your laptop.

I purchased this charger because I bought an open box computer that did not come with one. I'm glad I bought the one because I never lose it! Its bright blue light helps me find it whenever I forget where I plugged it in.

Have an Acer Chromebook R11, and even though the manufacturer says this will work with this model, none of the tips fit. All are too big. Even double checked on the https://www.tipconfigurator.com/bestbuy/#/search, it list this as a compatible charger, but trust me it's not.

works for many different laptops even though i find out the one i purchased it for was broken

This product works great works better than the factory cord

Was glad to find something that could power my old dell. However this stopped working in about a month. Money wasted.

Product was supposed to be a universal charger, however none of the charging adapter would fit my HP Laptop.
