It appeared to not fit as metal was still visible however it does charge the laptop and we have not had any concerns thus far.

It had multiple adapters that would fit just about any laptop brand that uses a 65W charger. My son's Toshiba laptop is several years old, so we were very happy the charger worked well and we didn't have to purchase a brand new laptop at this time.
