    I bought this adapter for my Dell XPS. The adapter will maintain power to the laptop but will not charge the battery. Based on some research, Dell laptops will only charge when using a Dell adapter. It would be nice if this adapter did better mimicking the dell charger.

    Original charger broke, so got this to replace it. It has adapters for both family laptops, and it charges the laptops fine, but it's very difficult to switch adapters. So difficult I worry the adapter will break! I was hoping that for this price, it would work for both.
