Insignia Surface laptop charging cord

It was still under warranty but I didn't ask for a replacement because I bought a new computer.

I went to the store, bringing my laptop along with me. I showed it to the employee there. He confirmed, "Yes, this is compatible"; however, the charger he gave me subsequently failed to power up my laptop. I was forced to return it. He brought out a different one, but that didn't work either. The employee possesses absolutely no knowledge or technical competence. Furthermore, they are extremely disrespectful and indifferent.

Never Worked

We plugged it into the laptop and nothing happend. It was the same wattage as the one we were replacing, but it was dead at purchase. We took it back and bought something else. Maybe it was just a defective one, but it didn’t impress to get it home and out of the box it didn’t work. I probably wouldn’t recommend this product, but maybe you’ll have better luck than I did.

It fried my motherboard with one charge and I ended up having to buy a new laptop. The laptop repair company I talked to said that Dell products tend to be finnicky with after market chargers.
