Wall charger
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For some strange reason it stop charging my devices. However, when I tried again before throwing it away it started to work again. I decided to give it away since I can’t rely on it. Noticed that because of its weight, it may cause to get unplugged from the wall.

Outstanding Dual-Port USB Charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How does one type a review for a USB charger? Honestly, I can’t review it in my usual format, as it’s a very ‘simplistic’ device – it has no “options”, and only a single “function (‘charging’, obviously). Guess I’ll just have to “do my best”. First, despite the product stating this is for “Apple” products, do NOT let this dissuade from purchasing is you are an anti-Apple person, as the product also indicates “and most USB-C Laptops”. In other words, it can be used to charge ANY device having a power requirement of 65W, or less, and being charged via a USB-C cable. Also, note that NO cables are included – you WILL need to provide your own USB-C to USB-C cable (any color will do…it does not need to be white). So, first question – Can it be used to charge any laptop having a USB-C charging port? I am typing this review on my Dell XPS 13 9310, which requires a 60W power supply…and, it is being powered/charged by the Insignia 65W Dual Port USB-C Charger…so, I guess that answers that question. At the same time, in attempting to simultaneously charge my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (aka the “new” Note), then powering/charging of the Dell XPS 13 stops. It’s not as if I didn’t expect this to happen, as the combined watt usage of both devices exceeds the 65W (the S22 Ultra requires a 15W minimum). Now, if I had the 100W 3-Port version of Insignia’s USB-C charger, I could have easily charged both devices. Heck, with that charger, I could simultaneously charge my Dell laptop, my S22 Ultra, AND my Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. But, I am not using (nor do I have) the 100W 3-Port charger. This review is about the 65W Dual Port charger. How well of a job does this charger do? My Dell laptop was down to 13% when I plugged it in. After approximately 2.5 hours later, it is fully charged. Not the fastest charger (the OEM Dell charger is, obviously, faster)…but, still more than “fast enough”. So, what’s the true “benefit” of this charger over the charger that came with my Dell XPS13…or the charger that comes with other laptops? Simply put, size & weight. While the charger for the XPS 13 is fairly small (especially compared to the “bricks” most laptops come with), it still weights approx 2-3x the weight of the Insignia charger, and it’s bulk is closer to 4x that of the XPS 13 charger. For those with true “bricks”, the weight & bulk savings would be even greater. If you have a “power hungry” laptop (ie. one requiring up to 100W), then check out the Insignia 100W 3-Port USB-C Charger…but, it 65W of charging ability is all you need, by all means, get this. It can easily charge your laptop, or simultaneously charge two phones and/or tablets…all while taking up less space, and weighing less than your laptop’s charger. On top of that, instead of having to carry around one charger for your laptop, and another for your phone/tablet(s), you will only be carrying a single charger.

Very Efficient Little Charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 65W wall charger by Insignia is a rather handy little thing to have around. Now, I know how some folks may feel about a "store brand" charger and I can understand that as I've had many of the same bad experiences as the rest of you. I have. And there are some store brand devices I simply will NOT buy no matter how cheap they are. With the Insignia brand from Best Buy I've had nothing but good experiences with. I got my first Insignia product when I was tight on cash and just needed something then. Imagine my surprise when five years later it was still working like a champ! Since then I've been a firm member of Team Insignia! So, to get started let me say the obvious. It's a charger. A 65W charger. It has to USB-C ports for charging two devices at once. Or you can charge one device faster. A typical use case for me is charging my iPhone and iPad Pro at the same time, especially if I'm using the Hotspot feature on my iPhone with my iPad. It's just more convenient that way. I was at 20% on my iPhone one day and this thing got me to 100% in about two hours. Oddly enough almost the same with the iPad which was sitting at 35%. May be odd but I'll take it. I've also charged things like my AirPod Pros and my B&O wireless headphones using this charger and both charged fairly fast. One cool thing, literally, is that unlike some other 65W chargers this thing produces practically no heat at all. With a lot of store brand chargers heat happens. With this one none of that. This Insignia charger has earned itself a permanent home in my backpack replacing the previous charger that was about seven years old. That's how much confidence I have in it.

Charges MacBook Air & iPad at the same time
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Insignia 65W 2-port USB-C charger appears to be capable of charging both my 13-inch MacBook Air (2020 M1 Model) and my 9th Generation iPad at the same time, though perhaps not as quickly as using two separate chargers. If I used just one port, I believe I got the full charge power for my MacBook, but it mattered which port I plugged the MacBook USB-C cable into. It appeared if I placed it on the port closest to the edge of the charger, the MacBook would say "Power Source: Power Adapter, Battery Not Charging", but if I switched to the other port (further from the edge) it did not say "Battery Not Charging," and successfully charged the MacBook to 100% relatively quickly (it was less than 10% down from full). If I left that port connected to the mac where it was, and then plugged in a second cable to charge my iPad, I can confirm that it did charge (that is the battery % went up from 81% to 93% within 30 minutes). Further, later in the day I ran down the MacBook charge, and plugged it in while the iPad was still plugged in and confirmed it was able to charge the MacBook still. Keep in mind that if you're charging two devices at the same time, you don't get the full 65 watt on the laptop port, but at least for me the convenience of only using one plug for both devices is worth it (and I typically charge the MacBook overnight only, so if it takes a little longer to charge I might not notice), because my surge power strip was relatively full with the other two. One word of advice, because the two USB ports have different wattages, if using both, you may want to have two DIFFERENT COLOR (I have black and white) USB-C cables to make sure you're using the right one.

Heavy Duty Portable Power
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice portable charger that does a good job at charging multiple devices quickly. The 2 ports are a big help when you have larger devices, but you are limited to a USB C connector. In my case I have an iPhone 13 mini and a Google Pixelbook which both use USB C. I went ahead and tested out the charging speeds for my devices, using my factory included cables. I’m not positive if the cable makes a difference in charging speeds, but either way it did go pretty quick. The 2 ports are labeled by a phone and computer, so I assume (not in any instructions) based on the info on the box that the phone port will output 20w while the computer will output 45w if used at the same time. Otherwise, if you use only one port you will get the full 65w. Here are my charge times: Starting Charge Percents: iPhone 13 Mini: 36% Pixelbook: 20% After 15 minutes of both being plugged in simultaneously: iPhone 13 Mini: 62% Pixelbook: 36% After 30 minutes: iPhone 13 Mini: 77% Pixelbook: 54% After 1 Hour: iPhone 13 Mini: 94% Pixelbook: 84% I was impressed with the dual charging speed, especially with the iphone. Keep in mind that devices themselves need to be able to support fast charging to notice any difference, otherwise you’ll get your standard speed. The extra wattage is great though for charging bigger devices such as chromebooks, laptops, and iPads. One thing I wish it had was an LED light to show you the charger was active and maybe show if charging was completed, but some people may prefer the absence of light to avoid any extra distractions at night. It fits my needs well though and will be nice to travel with.

Perfect for the traveler
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't mention the times I've been traveling recently and I get to the hotel and *facepalm* realize that I do not have a C--A cable with me just C--C. This was a problem until I got my hands on the Insignia™ - 65W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger! This baby is a lifesaver! My "Super long cords" that are all USB C----C can now be used without shoddy adapters. Even more, the Insignia™ - 65W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger can charge two devices at once. The Insignia™ - 65W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger has 2 USB-C ports that deliver dual 65W power to both my galaxy tab and and Chromebook. I have also rigorously tested the Insignia™ - 65W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger on multiple other devices that get their power delivered via the USB standard and they all work FLAWLESSLY! Since this is plugged into the wall, and not some battery based charger you know what you are getting as far as charging times go. In my experience, identical to OEM. You can't get any better than that. And with that in mind, if you are techie traveler, or you simply want to save a power outlet - the Insignia™ - 65W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger will be a lifesaver to you. It is built to LAST! I accidentally dropped once (or twice shhh!) and it is still tickin'! You can't go wrong!

Compact, works
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this for a week now to charge an HP Spectre laptop and a Samsung S22 phone and it's worked flawlessly. It does get very hot, so you definitely want to give it some space to dissipate the heat. This seems to be a trend with chargers lately as they make them more compact. This charger is super simple to use. The AC prongs flip out for use and then snap away when you want to throw it in your backpack. It has two USB-C ports for charging, but no cables included. It's a little hard to see, but there are icons below the ports to remind you which to use for different device types. The bottom one (top being the end with the AC prongs) shows a laptop so that's the 45W max port. The top one is for smaller devices and has a max of 20W. Together they make the 65W total that's advertised on the box. Other than that, there's really not much else to describe about the charger. It's capable of accepting 100 to 240v AC input so that means you can travel to Europe with it. Or, as is more likely for me, I can use it in some IT data center outlets that are 220v AC. Time will tell if it continues to work reliably over the years and doesn't develop a problem due to the heat build up. Hopefully its components are all designed for that. If so, I expect to be using this for a long time.

Great spare/back-up/replacement charger!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome charger. This is a great addition to the charging arsenal. Very small, light, compact, and I love that the plugs fold in and out of the way so they don't get caught on things or bend. This is small enough to fit just about anywhere and I prefer taking it on the go with me as compared to the charger that came with my laptop. This is a dual port so you can be charger two things at once for example computer and phone, or computer and tablet, or tablet and phone, whatever you like. Powerful 65 watts of juice flowing to to keep things charged up and gets you to 100% quickly. Has 2 USB-C ports but doesn't come with any cords so be sure to have your own ready. Also realize this is just the brick and no cord to the wall like a typical laptop charger so your usb-c cable probably needs to be longer than usual if you plan to use this with a laptop actually on your lap while plugged in. Construction is sturdy.. Lightweight but solid and certainly feels like it will be able to tolerate any rough handling and possible mishaps while traveling. I've enjoyed having this and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spare/back-up/replacement charger for basically any devices that use USB-C.

Compact, Versatile, Great for Travel
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia 65W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger fills an important need for any one who travels or has limited power outlets available. It has a total available 65w output if you are using one port to charge a single device, or it will output 45w and 20w respectively when using 2 ports. This will allow you to charge your phone and a small laptop simultaneously. It is important to note that the usb-c cables are not included, and that you must use cables that are capable of at least 65 watts in order to achieve the best results from this charger. It is relatively small at just over 2”x2”x1”, and the prong is retractable making this great for travel. I was able to charge my Surface Laptop and my Pixel phone simultaneously, with the Pixel phone indicating that it was charging rapidly. The ability to charge 2 devices while only using 1 outlet comes in very handy while traveling, as well as finding an unoccupied outlet at home. While in use the charger gets only slightly warm. I also like the white color which blends onto the white color of my outlets and walls. It appears to be a high quality product and I would highly recommend it.

Insignia Takes Charge!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are almost endless options when it comes to wall chargers. Manufactures, port types and numbers, speed, size, cost. This can be confusing and overwhelming. Insignia aims to make that decision just a bit easier with their 65W Dual Port USB-C. While this is marketed as compact, which is true, it isn't the most compact form factor out there. However, it certainly remains easily portable and can replace the native brick of the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 or MacBook Pro, both of which I have used with this charger. To be clear, this is a 65W charger when charging one device. However, when charging two devices the wattage is split into 20W and 45W, which still remains ample power for your devices. Charging is quick and efficient with minimal heat production within the charger. This is an easily portable charger that fits nicely in any small compartment. The ability to charge two devices simultaneously is what has made it my go-to travel charger. Overall I am very satisfied with the design, performance, and charging speed. I would recommend this to anyone needing a decent dual USB-C charger.

Works well with all my Apple products
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good dual port wall charger. I've used it with my MacBook Air M1, iPad Mini 6, iPhone 13 Pro as well as with a few other low power devices. Nice to have 2 USB-C ports (which seems to be becoming the standard). Foldable plug makes it nice when transporting in my work backpack too instead of having a protruding plug. Does what it's expected to do...at a favorable price point as well. Hopefully it will work reliably for years like my many other Insignia products. 65 watts is a good power rating for the majority of devices.

Small and versatile powerhouse!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's not a lot to say about wall charges in general, other than they work or they don't. The differences revolve around the size, the heat they generate and what they'll work for! This charger works for every device I have and has a small form factor and stays COOL! Using 1 port you can get up to 64W Max output, and using 2 ports you can get 20W plus 45W max output which varies by device! Per the description and based on my experience this can power/charge a variety of laptops, tablets, phones, speakers, watches and ear buds/phones as long as they have a USB-C power cord. I've had no issues powering any combinations of my laptop, table, phone and earbuds at the same time with power left over to charge! The unit has a foldable wall plug so it won't snag in a bag, and 1 year warranty! But since I've never had an Insignia branded product fail, I don't expect to have to use it! There are no cables included in this unit, but since it can be used for so many devices and doesn't require a cable to charge I consider that a positive.

Excellent Charger for Macbook or Phone
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Charging adapter is a great replacement for your Macbook Pro/Macbok power adapter and it wil supply the 65w needed for your laptop. The charger is better than the oneplus charger as you can fold the pins and prevent it from damage. When you are charging 2 devices simultenously the power is split into 20W and 45W. i actually had to dig through information to figure this out. I think insignia needs to highlight this fact in the spec as well. One thing to note is that not all USB cable will be capable of delivering 65W power and hence you need to make sure to check the specs before buying the cable that goes along with this. Size wise, it looks very similar to the macbook charger adapter so i have no complaints on it. The adapter does get hot if you use it for long but i did not see this as much of an issue. As the name suggests, it is a travel charger and hence it can be used in countries where you have 220v power. The only gripe i have is that i wish it came with the USB Type C charging cable.

High powered versatility
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who travels multiple times a month for business Im always on the hunt for versatile wall chargers that I can easily take with me and will help to make sure I have all the juice I need when I need it. Having a dead iPhone or laptop while traveling can mean the difference between being able to do ones job or missing that video conference call. The Insignia 65W Dual Port V30 Series Wall Charger certainly fits the bill and gives me the peace of mind I need while on the go. Another feature I look for in my chargers is retractable plug blades for easy packing away in my backpack and the Insignia V30 has them. With the 65W Dual ports I charged my iPad Pro and a PC Laptop at the same time and the 65W V30 Dual Port also charged my 14 inch MacBook by itself, charging was fast and the body of the charger didn’t get too hot to the touch. Any device that uses a USB C cable can utilize the Insignia 65W Dual Port V30 Series Wall Charger. For any charging needs both at home and traveling, you can’t go wrong.

Great way to Charge Apple Devices!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought a Macbook Air that now has the type-C charging port. I already have an Apple watch and an iPhone and I have started to travel a lot more often now and days so it was always cumbersome having to bring different adapters for each. Then comes along this compact wall charger! Now I can easily charge both my phone and my watch at the same time, or my Macbook and my phone AND watch (since you can also connect to the laptop). This thing outputs quite a bit of juice, I was able to charge my iPhone (a iPhone 13 Pro) from 19% to 90% in about 25 minutes which was pretty nice. My apple watch went from 40% to 96% in about 20 minutes. It charges pretty much at the same rate for a Macbook Air than the stock charger Apple provides for you when you buy a Macbook. You can also charge other peripherals that are type-c, for me I have some medical devices that charge with type-c that I can use with this charger, headphones, etc. The folding design of the plug is very nice as well for stoaway when traveling.
