This secureness degrades further rapidly, quickly rendering the cable useless as it slides in and out without any force whatsoever (just moving the laptop for instance cause the cable to fall out). Even when it is in the laptop, it only charges on the first try 20% of the time. Otherwise you end up spending 30 minutes flipping the wobbling the cable hoping it starts to work. You get what you pay for. You can see in the image I attached that the charging orange led on the side of the laptop is not activated despite the usb C head being fully inserted.

Only small issue is that the USB-C end of the plug fits looser into the computer's USB-C socket than the original. So you need to make sure if you move or jostle the laptop, might need to push the plug in more if it wiggles out a bit.
