Consider adding piston hinges to prevent slamming . It may cause interior light to malfunction. otherwise , very nice freezer

This freezer is actually SMALLER than our old one, even though they are supposed to be the same interior size. We like the light inside the lid so that it is easy to see the contents - we didn't realize it had one until we set it up. See to be a nice little freezer, and we will see how it performs this summer.

And very light, so moving it around into its location was easy. The only negative would be the quality of the inside liner. Really thin and soft. Pulling out some frozen meat hit the wall and made a dent.

The only issue is that the basket it comes with is a little flimsy. Other than that, freezer came to temp a few hours after it was plugged in. I've had it for about a year and it's been working flawlessly. I've purchased other items from this brand, it has been reliable so far.
