What could go wrong, and so far, nothing has gone wrong so far, 6 month later. The freezer chest was my solution to a failing 14 cubic foot upright freezer/fridge combo, where the top freezer was sporadically failing, while the fridge was functioning as designed. So I expanded my capacity for frozen storage by buying a freezer chest and stocking up on things I can freeze
