Due to a large leak in my garage last year my old chest freezer had a lot of rust damage on the bottom frame. Each month I would notice the frame seemed more and more damaged. So it was time for a new one. I bought this freezer based on rating from Consumer Reports. I was not disappointed. It cooled down almost immediately. The inside is spacious and easily held enough food for our family of 5. I love the included basket for storing things like popsicles. This way my kids aren't digging around forever for them. However one of my favorite things is the little ice scraper. Such a smart idea. It was huge problem with my old freezer and so glad this one came with it. I live in Central Florida and it gets HOT. This freezer has stood up well to the heat and my items are nice and cold. Would high recommend!

Picked this up 4/17/2023 on sale for 220. Going to make a four tap keggerator. Thanks to Rich's review and pic in 2021 then i thought i would give it a shot. So far with all the parts im able to save a ton over the store bought 4tap prices and picked up the stainless ball lock connectors, enough regulators for each of 4taps. Soda ans some brews need higher pressure periodically, anyways im going to serve 3 tall 5gal and one small 3gal keg with room to cool a fourth tall keg on its way in. Great deal. Im going to pick up the ITC-1000F controller for this puppy. Stoked

It's a must have. It is so quiet you don't even kn It's on not even when opened It's that quiet. It have a light down below thats the only way you can tell.

Great value for the price. I needed a compact freezer for a pantry and this fit perfectly. Works as you would expect.

Nice chest freezer, perfect size for what I needed. Able to hold a qtr beef and was only about half full. It's near totally silent and seems very energy efficient. Put a thermometer in it and with out of box settings it stays at -2 degree F.

So far, so goods. Nice size. The freezer runs quietly and cooles quickly after being plugged in. When I saw the box, I immediately thought about returning or getting a refund because it seemed too small. I'm glad I didn't. This freezer has the capacity to satisfy my family's needs.

This is a great little freezer! It doesn't take up too much space and holds a good bit! It got perfectly in the corner of the kitchen and we have not had any issues with it!

It was exactly what i was looking for. The suze fit perfectly into the space we were hoping to put it. The interior light is more than enough to light the space. Fantastic fir the value as well!

With the unexpected happening with the spread of this virus, I needed to pick up a deep freezer so that I could hold an abundance of frozen foods. I have to say that this purchase was exactly what I needed. it's just tall enough and nice and slim, but deep enough to hold quite a bit of food. The unit is Very quiet, you can barley tell that it is on. Plus the unit is light weight and was very easy to install. And the interior light works out great!!! I recommended this to my brother , and he went to purchase one and he is happy that he did. Great product!!

It’s the perfect size for an apartment. Love the light inside the freezer. Turned it on 24 hours later. It became cold quickly and I didn’t even have it turned up on high. Plenty of room for packaged meat for two to four people for four to six months. Love it.

I have only had the freezer for two months, so far the appliance has worked very well. It's very quit, the light inside is nice feature and you can fit all the meat from a 1200# butchered cow inside.

After waiting for months for these to come back in stock, I was finally able to grab one. It's been excellent for the few weeks I've had it. Pros: - It's a freezer, turned on and was ice cold within hours - Lots of space - Whisper quiet Cons: None, it works great. However, please see the notes below. Note: - Mine came slightly damaged with a dent on the rear right-hand side, however it so far has not impacted the operation of the unit. I worked something out with Best Buy. - I requested an appliance removal (which was paid for by me) with this order and Best Buy had to send an separate team out the following weekend to complete this request since the delivery team only had 5 minutes to complete delivery + set-up...supposedly. Not a huge deal, but definitely annoying.

We been using this freezer almost a year, it still work very well! Easy to setup and we are happy with the space

This freezer has been awesome. I've owned it for about a month and it has done a great job of keeping my items frozen. It holds plenty for a small family and is not noisy. It is a great value and I would buy it again and recommend it.

I’ve always been skeptical of the Insignia line. Don’t really know why but ended up picking up the Insignia 7cuft chest freezer as it was the best price on a freezer in its size range. Was I surprised… period. It’s light (not heavy) quiet, a decent size power cord (not one of those 2 ft jobs) and their is even a light inside. You’ll laugh but it freezes good. Yeah frozen is frozen but I run it at about 50% of its cooling capacity and it maintains 0…. Not +- 2 or 3 degrees but 0. (Use a freezer thermometer). Actually on Best Buy.com now as I was just checking the price to add a second one and felt like I should leave a review. Oh and I did buy the 5cuft freezer for the mother-in-law too

Great little freezer. Very light when empty and easy to move by yourself. Has LED interior lighting, runs very quiet. I have two now. Great price as well.

Needed an outside freezer for bulk meat storage. This was an excellent fit at a great price. Easy to move around and setup and so far its been running like a charm.
