As a freezer it can get down past -10F. Startup current is under 3A, running under 1A. Has a light, but remember that won't always be on if you are running as a conversion with an external controller.

Yes, a chest freezer can require a little digging v. a more easily organized upright, however, I can fit more into the chest and it fits my garage space well. Kudos to Best Buy for their easy outdoor pickup. Guess what? This refrigerator just fit inside my 2008 Prius hatchback!!
