    Can’t trust it

    I’ve owned this for five months and have had two instances where I walk up to a high temp freezer. The first time I found it fast enough to save the contents, the second we lost it all. Near as I can tell the compressor will not automatically come back on after a power failure, the unit has to be manually reset via the front switch. This becomes a problem when you’re at work and have a rapid power flicker, you might not ever realized it quit running without looking inside. Do your research and shop a different brand, the cheap price is a wash when you factor in food waste.

    Broke after 4 mos, no in-home svce for 63 lb unit

    Delivered on November 28. On April 4, I spotted water on the rim as I opened the lid. When I let go of the lid to look further inside the unit, the lid fell and hit me on head. Purchased protection plan. Called for service and was advised I need to bring it in. It's 63.9 lbs. Impossible for me to do. Disappointed in product and protection plan.

    Great for the price, just understand that there will be corners cut at this price range. One thing that sucked was that there was only leveling on one side!

    We’ll see. Worked fine for the first few months. I have a tempfi inside the freezer and have been getting alerts every single day that the freezer spikes above 5 degrees even when on colder settings. That was never the case I. The first 8 months so we’ll see how the warranty pans out and whether they can fix it.

    It was missing 2 of the feet. And on the bottom by the motor the steel is bulged out to the point that its touching the floor. So its wobbly. Or not sturdy. I would share a picture buts jam packed.

    Works great but it has to dents in the corners . Make sure to check your stuff . We got it in a box and didn’t notice till after we hooked it up .

    The freezer sometimes works ok, but is really inconsistent. The temperature swings radically between -5° to +11°, at the maximum setting, but is more often at +5° or above. Chest freezers should stay at 0° or below; anything above 0° is really not acceptable. When you open it to put something in, it takes a long time to cool back down, and even then, it’s not cold enough. It had one job... Unfortunately, we are under a shelter in place, so I can’t return it before the return date... I do not recommend this unit...

    The top seal is leaking a little already. It’s developing ice in a couple of spots. It’s an okay freezer for the money.

    We were happy with the freezer for 13 months during the pandemic. With extra freezer storage to store additional food to reduce the number of grocery shopping trips. It comes with 12-month limited warranty. Starting at month 13, the freezer started shutting down itself, so a freezer of food just went bad. We literally had to restart the freezer and checking it on a daily basis to make sure it is working while shopping for a new freezer.

    Freezer had a big dent when I removed it from the box and Best Buy was not helpful at all. Freezer works but I am disappointed in the condition of the freezer.

    Our freezer creates a lot of freeze and have to continuously keep cleaning it out. Would not recommend it.

    Maybe defective unit, stopped working after 18 mth

    Ordered this october 12 2023, unit stopped working may 2, 2025. Had approx half cow in it, panic purchasd a new freezer so i dont lose all that beef. Waiting to see what the repair is and how much its gonna cost. Make sure you purchase an extended warranty

    If I could give this negative stars I would. This product is garbage and anything you put inside of it will too become garbage. It failed on me three times in under two years and just spoiled a full freezer of homemade chili, bags of chicken, shrimp, and sausage. Hundreds of dollars worth of meat and at least a dozen hours worth of meal prep.

    Terrible product horrifying customer service

    The freezer did not work from day one. The problem was that it breakes the circuit. And I’ve two 10 watt, one 15 watt, another 20 watt circuits. Wherever we plug it, it brakes the circuit. Best Buy told us to hire electrician. We did. He said it’s the freezer’s issue possibly Capacitors & Relays or fuse. Best Buy then said they would schedule for a technician to come and check it out. The next day, they said it was not eligible since it’s been 20 days even though it was only 11 days since received. It’s not just the brand, it’s also the customer service where they say “after 15 days of purchase it’s not eligible” for any service, return or exchange.

    Failed immediately and best buy could not fix, nor would they replace it. The freezer was full of imporant items (fish i caught in the ocean). I had to dump the freezer after 40 days of purchase
