Great little freezer! Roomy. We love the light when the lid is opened. Our 14 year old chest freezer died and we needed a replacement fast so we didn't have to lose $300 in food. Only Best Buy had a freezer in stock which we could pick up in one hour. We had to drive 90 miles, so it took us longer to get there, but the helpful employees loaded it onto our truck within minutes of our arrival. Luckily we didn't have to throw away any food. The freezer is great and Best Buy was wonderful.

Its exactly what I was looking for. the price was terrific for such a large capacity. Seems bigger than 7 cubic feet. And the racks make it extremely functional. I live in a mobile home that can only accommodate a small fridge with a small freezer. This is perfect size for my garage, so I can take advantage of meat sales instead of having to high prices for small cuts of meat.

I bought this deep freezer as a gift for my Man, He hunts so it is perfect for all the meat we get. We keep it in the garage as there is no space for it inside the home. So far so good. I know where I am located we get some extreme heat and I am curious to to see how well it holds up. I will definitely post again in about a year as that seem the usual life span of this item. Currently we have had it 2 months. It started cooling as soon as we plugged it in and has stayed frozen since. 5 stars. great buy!

Works well, not many features. Overall does the job it’s supposed to do, with maybe a little quick on the ice build up.

Great freezer for the price. The light in it is a nice feature, especially when you live with people who like to turn the light off in the room you are in while digging through it. It is replacing a smaller 20 year old Haier that still worked great. This insignia is made by haier so hopefully it lasts as long.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of this freezer! It is temporarily in my kitchen and makes minimal noises. I picked it up from the store after reading reviews of damage to the unit and was grateful mine was perfect out of the package. We have had it plugged in and using it for a month now and there is no frost inside. I would highly recommend this freezer!
