Picked up this ice box to survive the zombie apocalypse. The Insignia 7 cubic ft. freezer is clean looking, extremely quiet and does the job it was designed to do. I like the internal light and would recommend this item to anyone that is in the market.

This is perfect for my needs. Pickup at the store was simple and there was no visible damage to the box or unit (something many reviews on many sites warned against). Setup at home went without a hitch. I set the temperature selector about 2/3 towards cold and the temperature was 0 when I checked the next day. It has held that although it is only about 20% full. Should I need warranty work, being able to return it to the store and not having to ship it to a manufacturer was a major factor why I bought at Best Buy.

Big enough for our needs and got this baby on sale. Our main fridge was getting crowded.

Not much to really say other than it does exactly as advertised. It's nice that you can control the temperature easily but adjusting the knob on the outside and I fell in love with the fact that it has a light fixture inside. The fridge came with an ice scraper that works like a charm. The only thing that I'm not 100% a fan of is the aluminum interior. I would have much preferred a white plastic covering on the inside like our other deep freezer but it's a minor detail. Overall, this is a great deep freezer.

I’ve had this 7.0cu ft freezer for almost a year now. It’s been holding strong. This freezer is approximately the same cubic ft. as my bottom freezer on Maytag refrigerator, so it basically gave me double freezer space. I haven’t needed to empty it in 11months to defrost which exceeded my expectations. It’s very roomy for my individual needs and having an interior light is definitely helpful!

Exactly what I needed, highly recommend this brand.

We got this as a secondary/back up freezer. We now keep most of our longer-term storage in this chest freezer and keep more regularly used goods in an upright. It will accumulate some frost, but with low humidity in Michigan we don't expect to need to defrost for a year or two. Great value on a nicely-sized freezer.

This freezer is a good size, a decent price and keeps frozen food frozen. I picked it up with Covid low contact pickup and that worked well. No dents dings or other damage - it seems that many of these freezers are beat up in shipping/storage - thankfully, I got a good one. All chest freezers suffer from their design in that foods on the bottom are hard to get to/remember, but they are very efficient. This one has been chugging along for almost two months now, cold quiet and unobtrusive.

For a commodity product like a chest freezer, I’m really only looking for two things—a good price and good reliability. This one has both. It’s a great size that fit nicely in our pantry and the inside is big enough to give us plenty of freezer space without crowding it. Like I said in the headline—it’s really just a deep freeze, but it was just what we needed for my family.

Luv it, especially the light in the top. Compact & very quiet. It has a great rating with CR. I did buy extra wire baskets to hang and to organize the lower area, as a personal choice. Freezes quickly. Great price. Highly recommended. .

Needed extra freezer space and this unit was perfect, plus it has a light which some do not. It is also very quiet.
