I don't think I'd go any smaller than this. Works great. Zero issues. Great price making it worth buying new versus finding something used!

I recommend going bigger if in doubt originally intended to purchase 5 Cu. feet but it was out of stcok at the time and went with 7 and am glad I did. Light is a great feature. I do recommend getting a freezer temp gauge to dial in the temp. I have mine set a little before halfway and it runs at 0 degrees.

In my home I have commercial freezer and refrigeration. The freezer keeps breaking down. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food going bad, not to mention the repair costs. For just a bit over $200.00 I now have a unit that really worked right out of the box and is security for when the fancy freezing system won't work. Great buy!
