It gives you options you wouldn't have otherwise. Nothing fancy, but I didn't need fancy. I needed something inexpensive that would do the job required. It does that without complaint. I needed a freezer that was energy efficient and it is that too. Very happy with it.

It doesn’t take up a lot of space and allows me to see what I have without bending over like most deep freezers

No digging. Only problem is that frosts build ip in just a few days of use.

Got it on sale which really made the price point excellent. Fairly quite, looks good, no damage, easy to level. On lowest setting it keeps a steady temp between -5F and 0F

Over the holidays I used it as a fridge to give me more space for things I'd need and then for leftovers. I'll switch to freezer sometime next month to give me room for made-ahead meals.
