While it does keep the food cold, the inside walls and top are constantly dripping wet. There's no evaporator, so water constantly builds up inside. I would hate to see what happens if this is used as a freezer!

Great freezer if it's truly all the space you need

There was barely enough room for everything because of the shelves. It's still better than throwing everything into a chest freezer and having to dig everything out. It did freeze everything solid. Don't love the frost; if it's barely big enough to start with, frost isn't going to help. I returned it and ordered a 13 cu ft freezer. I need the extra space that the chest freezer gave. There was zero extra space for a thanksgiving turkey, food for special occasions or even food scraps I keep frozen for the green bin.
