This freezer is nice for the size and price i purchased it for. Thought we had a hiccup in the first week when everything was defrosting, but we figured out something was keeping the door from closing completely. It has a nice seal to keep doors closed. If i had a critique on this the dial to set temperature has no numbers on it so your winging on what a giid temp to keep the freezer at. Now i have this one I already keep it full I want a bigger one. However, I would definitely purchase this one again. Tine will tell how long this one lasts. My chest freezer lasted 10 years hopefully I will see that out of this one. One more thing i don't have alot of room in my house for additional equipment like appliances and it fits perfectly right next to my kitchen door by my front door and takes up very little space. Its also very very quiet! I love it so much!

I ordered this back in May, and after half a year's time, it has definitely lived up to my expectations. It was delivered nicely, I got it out of the packaging, set it up, and in very little time at all, it was already at the desired temperature. It's had no issues with temperature fluctuations, it has plenty of space for my family's needs, and I really do enjoy the convertibility of it. We had a few scorching hot days this past summer, and it had no issues handling that. Overall, I'd recommend this freezer. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Even though it was in packaging, there were a couple of dings on the appliance. I did not ask for a replacement as I needed it right away, and it had been a pain to pick it up now that Geek membership doesn’t give you free delivery any more. I followed instructions for set up and it seems to be working well, except from some ice build up on the ceiling. I’m happy with it. It is just the right size for what I need. And I like that it can be converted to a fridge if my needs change.

Great size for us, adjustable shelves and easy to organize.

I was in need of storing more freezable items so, I went to Best Buy to find a frost free freezer that required minimal space. I found this one to be perfect. Its quiet and spacious enough for my storing needs.

REALLY REALLY happy with this little beast. Offers a choice between refrigeration and freezing, plenty of room inside, drawer on the bottom for loose items, reversible door and aesthetically pleasing. Safeway opened near us and offered some great deals on meat. We needed a place to store it, and this fit the bill in price, form factor and size. Needless to say, the freezer is full now, 20# ground beef, 3 FULL ribeye's (cut into steaks), and a ton of other meat. The more recent pick is PRIOR to us filling it completely.

This is the perfect size freezer for a single person. You’re able to keep the refrigerator freezer free enough to find things and it freezes great. The only thing is that it’s necessary to defrost and it’s been so long since I’ve done it I dread the first attempt. The door is hard to open but that’s good and so far I haven’t broken a finger nail in any of my attempts.

This freezer has worked great so far. It holds a lot stuff. It works great for our little space.

We purchased this freezer to supplement the freezer compartment in our kitchen refrigerator/freezer. We did not want a unit that was large because we planned to set it up in our basement. It has worked very well. We have a dry basement, so condensation inside the freezer is not a problem for us. Because of its weight, size and the fact that it is an upright freezer, it was easy to move into the basement. In the photograph, the freezer is next to a standard four drawer file cabinet.

It was a rilly ruff start because I picked up the first one at your store in Florence Kentucky and got that one home and it was damaged and I talked to a representative of yours and they said they would order a nather one and when the second one got here it was damaged also so we ordered the third one one and when it finally got here it was good but to already ask me to give a star rating,seems a little erlly to be asking for that,ask me that in about five or six years form now but as of now it is working pretty good

I purchased this freezer due to its small form factor. I liked that it was it tall vs. wide and would fit in our space. We purchased this for freezing bulk meet and it is not our main freezer by any means. The freezer, when it worked, worked well. It froze things properly to the temperature set. The only flaw we noticed was that the door did not always close completely and we really had to push it closed to confirm a tight seal. This happened regardless of whether the freezer was full or not. Now the downside(s) - It died completely two weeks after the one year mark. I always thought that this idea of things dying right past the warranty was a funny trope, but it finally happened to me. When calling Best Buy Support to see if they could send out a tech for repair, they said they do not send out techs for freezers of this size and that it needs to exceed 10 cu.ft. Mind you, this was NOT to try and get it within warranty. We were intending to pay for service. Our only option is to haul it to a Best Buy store to have them look at it. Since we do not have a truck, at a certain point, the product becomes more expensive to repair than the product itself, so we took a look at it ourselves (a mechanical engineer and an electrical engineer). The compressor protector relay is absolutely fried; there is damage to the plastic that shows evidence of overheating, which you can see in the images. We placed this freezer in the room with plenty of margin (3" on all sides), so this absolutely should not have happened. I am also curious what kind of fire risk this posed. There also looks to be rust, but I have no idea how this would have been exposed to any kind of moisture. Upon further research, it looks like the BestBuy Insignia brand sources components from multiple manufacturers and the QC is insufficient, as this is a critical part of the freezer and shouldn't have this kind of issue. Perhaps this is something I should have expected at this price point, but because it is a storage freezer that we don't open often, I thought it would be able to keep things frozen at a consistent temperature without an issue for a little while. So now we have a brick and no way reasonable way to fix it professionally. We are replacing the parts ourselves to see if this works, but again, this piece being faulty is ridiculous in our opinions.

We were in need of an overflow freezer after we moved and the freezer that came with our home was rather small. This Insignia unit has been perfect for function and for size. It fits easily in our garage with a relatively small footprint and holds a good amount of items with nice glass shelves. It's a nice bonus that it can become a regular refrigerator if we ever needed that.

Lots of room and fits perfect in my kitchen. Highly recommend to anybody that needs extra freezer space! The delivery guys were really helpful as well!

This was perfect for a closet i planed on using to set this in. The freezer has worked great. Seals itself every timebi close the door. Has more room then any 26⁴ft side by side. Plenty of space.

This review is after one month of use. The freezer has a lot of space considering the size. I can store lots of frozen snacks for my kids for school. It has created more space in my original fridge too. Now I have lots of options. The cooling is excellent. I would recommend it especially if there are kids in the house.

The is a great freezer. Right out of the package it was a perfect size for our family. Many shelves and a drawer at the bottom. Had to change to door swing and with the instructions, changing it was a breeze. Recommend this unit for the smaller size upright freezer needs of your family!

So far I’m very pleased with this purchase. I needed a little extra freezer capacity and this 7 cu ft unit was perfect. It fits nicely in the garage next to existing cabinets. I installed the unit on a 12” high stand, making access to all shelves easy and convenient.
