I purchased this convertible freezer less than a year ago. The seal now has a tear at the top left near where you pull the door open. It is right above the spot where you put your hand in the grove to open the door. I assume that the seal just wore out in this spot over time since the door does have a very tight seal when closed. I contacted Best Buy since it is still under warranty, figuring this would be a simple house call and seal replacement, they said that I would have to remove everything from the freezer and take it back to the store so their tech can work on it. This is not acceptable as I would have to lay the freezer down to and from the store and that could compromise the compressor. I responded to their email asking me to take the freezer back and I asked if I can provide pictures and they could just send me a new seal and I would return the old seal to the store and they have not responded and that was 5 days ago. Poor service in my opinion. Other than the seal issue, the freezer works well and I haven't had any issues with it cooling.

The ease and flexibility to switch from freezer to refrigerator is great! The shelving and the bottom drawer is good for storage!

Works good, the only thins that need is internal light, but for the price is good option

Excellent! I filled the entire freezer with trays of water for my exotic bird business and everything froze by morning for me.

Needed more organization than a chest freezer. This provided that in a space with a unique setup.

Its good for the price, it is slightly loud but not overly.

The reason why I bought this one is we can lower the temperature to 30F with refrigerator mode. But it cannot go below than 36F. I tested with 3 different type of thermometer. I tried to contact customer service, but the exchange process was very annoying. I should wait the new one more than a week after I return it because they didnt have stocks around me. I need this right now and i can not wait that long...So, i decided use current one... I dont know this is defective one or just not good product. I dont recommend this item if you aim to some temperature range. Dont belive their number!

Nice freezer for the amount paid. A little small great for a small space.

I have thisnin my garage but when it condensates it leakes water inside and out

Do not buy. Had for only 8 months and it died and I lost six or seven hundred dollars and Best Buy doesn’t what to do anything about it because we didn’t buy an extended warranty, why would I buy a extended warranty if the freezer comes with a warranty and it is only 8 months old?

1 month into storage we has 1/2 inche ice build-up inside the unit. Unit run very hot to touch on outside of unit.

Great little freezer that fits in the storage area of our apartment. Delivery was on time and there was no damage. I chose the middle temperature range for the freezer setting and within a few hours the temperature was 0 degrees. Since it is an upright everything is easy to reach and it holds quite a lot of food. It is very quiet!

Damage to the back of unit, returned. Offer to get me new one but it take a week, could not wait that long.

First one came with a giant dent picked up from store, second one came with a dent delivered

Picked up from store specifically to avoid shipping damage yet was still so dented it won’t stand up without wobbling.

Poor rack quality. It shattered overnight on day 1 . Turn on freezer mode, no item inside but glass shattered overnight.

Product was dinged and have been trying to speak to someone about it for over an hour now.

This Refrigerator / Freezer is sized on a smaller scale, I plan to use it as a refrigerator for now. I use it in the garage as a beverage refrigerator. The only thing is that it does not auto defrost. The unit works well, it's quiet and great for having a stocked refridgerator.

We use this in our garage for a drink fridge and there is plenty of space and shelf space. However it rains inside. There is always condensation build up on the top, walls and it will puddle up under the bottom drawer. Maybe it’s normal maybe it’s not not to sure. Over all it keeps the drinks ice cold!

We recently purchased this convertible freezer, and it has proven to be an excellent addition to our garage. With the holiday season approaching, the extra freezer space is incredibly helpful. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its performance; it runs so quietly that I’ve had to open the door several times just to check if it’s still working! The versatility of being able to convert it into a refrigerator is another significant advantage. ​Considering these features, I believe this freezer is well worth the investment.​ If you're looking for reliable extra storage, I highly recommend this model.
