Door Seal Issues

The seal now has a tear at the top left near where you pull the door open. It is right above the spot where you put your hand in the grove to open the door. I assume that the seal just wore out in this spot over time since the door does have a very tight seal when closed. I contacted Best Buy since it is still under warranty, figuring this would be a simple house call and seal replacement, they said that I would have to remove everything from the freezer and take it back to the store so their tech can work on it. This is not acceptable as I would have to lay the freezer down to and from the store and that could compromise the compressor. I responded to their email asking me to take the freezer back and I asked if I can provide pictures and they could just send me a new seal and I would return the old seal to the store and they have not responded and that was 5 days ago. Poor service in my opinion. Other than the seal issue, the freezer works well and I haven't had any issues with it cooling.

But it cannot go below than 36F. I tested with 3 different type of thermometer. I tried to contact customer service, but the exchange process was very annoying. I should wait the new one more than a week after I return it because they didnt have stocks around me. I need this right now and i can not wait that long...So, i decided use current one... I dont know this is defective one or just not good product. I dont recommend this item if you aim to some temperature range. Dont belive their number!

Bad product and bad customer service.

Had for only 8 months and it died and I lost six or seven hundred dollars and Best Buy doesn’t what to do anything about it because we didn’t buy an extended warranty, why would I buy a extended warranty if the freezer comes with a warranty and it is only 8 months old?

Delivery was on time and there was no damage. I chose the middle temperature range for the freezer setting and within a few hours the temperature was 0 degrees. Since it is an upright everything is easy to reach and it holds quite a lot of food. It is very quiet!

Awesome Refridgeator / Freezer

I use it in the garage as a beverage refrigerator. The only thing is that it does not auto defrost. The unit works well, it's quiet and great for having a stocked refridgerator.
