Extreme condensation makes this product impossible to use as a fridge. Two units now. Exact same issue. As a freezer, I'm sure it works, but it will not stay dry when you have the temp set to any of the fridge settings. Water began to collect on the inside of the fridge, eventually dripping down the walls and pooling at the bottom. Customer support told me to turn the fridge to the coldest temp, which just caused the water to freeze to the top, sides, and bottom of the unit. The drawer at the bottom became encased in ice that had to be chipped away in order to open it. Best Buy exchanged the unit and guess what has happened with the new unit??? The same thing. Water water everywhere. Anything I put in at the fridge setting gets wet. The cardboard around my eggs? Wet. Jars? Wet. Cheese? WET. So frustrating as I was looking for additional fridge space, not a freezer, but that's the only way this unit is remotely usable. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT A FRIDGE!

This freezer is exactly what we needed. It’s the perfect size for all of your frozen meals and snacks. We have had it for a few months now and it works great.

Purchased to store fermented vegetables and beverages long term at a near freezing temperature. Mechanical thermostat maintains very stable temperature.

Needed more organization than a chest freezer. This provided that in a space with a unique setup.

I purchased this convertible freezer less than a year ago. The seal now has a tear at the top left near where you pull the door open. It is right above the spot where you put your hand in the grove to open the door. I assume that the seal just wore out in this spot over time since the door does have a very tight seal when closed. I contacted Best Buy since it is still under warranty, figuring this would be a simple house call and seal replacement, they said that I would have to remove everything from the freezer and take it back to the store so their tech can work on it. This is not acceptable as I would have to lay the freezer down to and from the store and that could compromise the compressor. I responded to their email asking me to take the freezer back and I asked if I can provide pictures and they could just send me a new seal and I would return the old seal to the store and they have not responded and that was 5 days ago. Poor service in my opinion. Other than the seal issue, the freezer works well and I haven't had any issues with it cooling.

I have thisnin my garage but when it condensates it leakes water inside and out

The reason why I bought this one is we can lower the temperature to 30F with refrigerator mode. But it cannot go below than 36F. I tested with 3 different type of thermometer. I tried to contact customer service, but the exchange process was very annoying. I should wait the new one more than a week after I return it because they didnt have stocks around me. I need this right now and i can not wait that long...So, i decided use current one... I dont know this is defective one or just not good product. I dont recommend this item if you aim to some temperature range. Dont belive their number!

Do not buy. Had for only 8 months and it died and I lost six or seven hundred dollars and Best Buy doesn’t what to do anything about it because we didn’t buy an extended warranty, why would I buy a extended warranty if the freezer comes with a warranty and it is only 8 months old?

1 month into storage we has 1/2 inche ice build-up inside the unit. Unit run very hot to touch on outside of unit.

Picked up from store specifically to avoid shipping damage yet was still so dented it won’t stand up without wobbling.

Damage to the back of unit, returned. Offer to get me new one but it take a week, could not wait that long.
