I'd rate the freezer itself a B, the delivery an A-, and the scheduling an F. The schedulers refused to work with my schedule AT ALL on a delivery time -- they decide when it's coming, period. However, the actual delivery went well, the delivery people were courteous and helpful. They forgot to level the freezer, but I didn't think to mention it either so I'll share the blame there. The freezer works well, it fits the space I have for it and is quiet and relatively efficient. However, after only a month it's already forming frost at a pretty healthy clip; I'm not too pleased about that. But if, like me, you need an upright freezer for a fairly small space, it seems to be the best choice out there.

Went down to temp very quickly and is holding a temperature of -10 and runs quiet. When you shut the door, there is kind of a sucking noise so it seals very well. Because it seals so tightly you have to give it a pretty good pull to open, which is fine. I just wish they had a handle on the front about a third of the way down from the top instead of the little groove along the top edge, that said I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Love it, compact and affordable. The internal partitions makes storage very organized and conserves temperature by isolating only the compartment that is opened. The most unique quality is the dual function of using as fridge or freezer by just adjusting the knob. Highly recommended.

We are super pleased with this purchase. It replaced a 5 cu ft chest freezer that was old and always full of ice build-up. This is a HUGE upgrade and makes everything so much more accessible. The door seals tightly, so even though it's not frost-free, frost hasn't built up at all in the 2.5 months that we've had it. It is quiet and cold enough even without being on the highest setting. The adjustable shelves are easy to use and make it so simple to organize frozen items. So far we have used it only as a freezer, but if our main fridge goes down, the plan is to pack the freezer items on ice and use this as a fridge until a new one can be obtained.

With so much that is complicated and overdone anymore the simplicity of this freezer/refrigerator is refreshing. The compact size and weight makes moving and placing the item easy enough for one person. The performance is exactly what you expect and is nothing short of spectacular. They hit the nail on the head with the interior design compared to other models I have used and seen with full size adjustable shelves all the way from the top down to a single drawer at the bottom. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable, well thought out freezer or refriderator that could be lacking the room for a full size unit.

Perfect size for our garage and upright freezer allows us to organize and store our food better than the chest freezer we had and no problems so far with the temperature/freezing. Better quality than comparable makes/models. Delivery was fast and efficient and deliverer was friendly and helpful.

The freezer is fairly large and offers plenty of compartments, making it super convenient to organize everything. I'm happy with my purchase. It's small enough to fit in a small space and large enough to easily store 20 lb. of beef, poultry and home-made dog food as well as 20, 12oz packs of frozen fruits and vegetables! I have a second, deep freezer for seafood and large meats. Access to the food in this freezer is much easier it its upright posotion. I love that it can transform to function as a refrigerator if needed.

I recently bought an Insignia fridge/freezer for my small baking business, and it’s been a great addition. It has plenty of space to store ingredients and finished products, and the temperature stays consistent, which is important for keeping everything fresh. The shelves are adjustable, making it easy to fit larger containers. It runs quietly and doesn’t take up too much energy. Overall, reliable and affordable—perfect for a small business like mine.

This is not just a freezer , its convertible. We can use it as a refrigerator as well as a freezer. It takes very little space, which is good. It was easy to assemble and get it up running. Cooling is great. Lighting is ok. Door opening is OK, need a little effort to open the door.

Pretty happy with these freezers. I was looking for an upright solution to take up less space in the basement and these fit the bill just right. You get a generous amount of space and a lot of racks, as well as a dedicated enclosed drawer at the bottom. You can easily adjust the temperature of the freezer and even use as a fridge if you wish. Very happy with these freezers, though I do understand that they are not as efficient as chest freezers and will lose more of the cooling as you open it.

Using as a garage fridge. Actually, using as the garage beer fridge. Each shelf can hold 36 up and 15 laying down. Plenty of room. It takes awhile to hone in 33 degrees for ice cold beer, so don't fill it all the way up until you have that done. It's labeled garage ready for temp changes, but I didn't find anything in the paperwork specifying that, but I just assume Best Buy is correct with the title. No light, you can buy motion sensor lights for cheap on other sites. I like it, should be good for the long run.

This freezer is surprisingly spacious. I like the shelves, the drawer at the bottom, and how easy it was to move it around (while it was empty). The interior was cold enough to freeze within just a few hours of plugging it in. The only possible criticism I could make is that when I adjusted the feet to make the freezer level, one of them unscrewed all the way off and was difficult to put back in. It would be helpful if the feet didn't unscrew all the way off.

The Insignia upright freezer is a perfect size to handle the overflow from the kitchen refrigerator/freezer. Being garage ready allows it to be installed in a garage where the temperatures are lower than in the living area of the house. The freezer holds a constant temperature, I chose 10 degrees F. The spacing of the shelves is adjustable allowing reconfiguration to accommodate large items when necessary.

This refrigerator is the perfect size for my office. I have it set to freezer mode and it works very well; it holds a lot of frozen saimin, angus beef patties, frozen entrees, gimbap and musubi. I no longer have to go out and leave work to get lunch (sometimes a bad thing). The unit is quiet and sufficiently energy efficient. I think this is a great value and am really liking it.

Excellent little upright freezer, Works a lot better than I expected , it is thin and short, but perfect to hide away in your garage, I have a full of meat plenty of space adjustable shelves for large pieces , and if the power goes out, I could always run my car inverter if I needed to, A+ plus plus plus

For the price this freezer is well worth the expense. We like the stand up vs the coffin type due to not having to dig through your items to find what you are looking for. Just the right size to fit in the garage. It is also surprisingly quiet.

It is a quality, compact unit with more than adequate storage for our needs. It holds the temperature settings well. The price is good. It would be better if it had an internal light, and if the foot pads were made of a material that would better grip the epoxy surface of our garage (you need to hold it with one hand, while opening it with the other hand, to keep it from slipping along the floor). The delivery service was excellent.

great little freezer, or refrigerator and nice to be able to use it either way you choose. takes up less space while giving you extra storage in laundry room or garage.

I picked up the freezer at the store with no damage on its outside, and it was well-protected inside with styrofoam. I let it sit a day to stabilize, since I had carried it on its side in my SUV. I had to switch the door hinge from right to left, which was a little difficult at the bottom hinge, and it does not have an interior light. It started up fine the next day, and froze a glass of water quickly. Have only had it a short time, so can't speak to longevity.
